Well, I was brought up to be polite and put others before me so I will simply say

After you, my friend. :lol

Okay, can we get back on track here?

For anyone who missed these shots I took yesterday, I hope you feel they bear reposting.

just got my Maul. incredible fig! tho my buy's shoulders are a lil loose. his arms wanna fall down to the sides sometimes. paints perfect tho. no moustache. i got his head to tilt down low enough that i think the "looking thru his eyelids" look might work now if i repaint the eyes, altho i had to stick something inbetween the back of his neck and his torso to get it to tilt that low.

like others have stated, the boots are a bit too big. they are very loose on his feet so they could've easily been made smaller.
one cool thing i found out that i can't believe i'm just discovering is that the ankle has a joint that allows it to move side to side. i always thought the ankle could only move up and down in the front. in all the discussions about the need for SS to update their bodies, one of my major gripes was that it needed ball joint ankles so they could move laterally, and all the while it had that ability. *smacks forehead*

I think you're pretty brave, Josh! Your pic is the epitome of what us Freaks are really about. Most of us are just too afraid to show it.

And yeah, the SDCC interview was great!

Thanks Batty!! :maul

My God, you're right!! Too bad the boots don't allow for use of this evolutionary -- nay, revolutionary -- leap. Thanks for posting this. The boots are so inflexable, I don't know when, if ever, I would have stumbled onto that.

You don't suppose... could all SW figures feature this function yet remain hidden (and thus essentially useless) inside their rigid boots?

I hope Sideshow does a Vader soon. That Minicom Vader is only barely taller than Maul.

Totally agree! The Medicom Vader is an A-mazing figure... not two ways about it. It is one of the best 1/6 ever made IMO, however he should not be only a **smidge** taller than Maul and shorter than Anakin :google That's just not right :lol

Yeah, too bad

the Medi Dwarf Vader will soon be surpassed by the SSC Darth, hope they figure out some light function for his belt, now that would be cool!

Hope your enjoyin my errr....your vader!:D But ya don't compare SS with medicom two different beasts.I'm anxious to see what SS can do with a vader as well, they got their work cut out for them.(I hope it comes with some cool gear)

Just got mine today!! I am stunned... Near perfect figure if I ever saw one. He may need a touch here and there on his face tats, but very minor...

Here are pics... And just a "practice" Paint in the computer to try out the eyes... :D

I am, you'll notice the mini-saber in front of him too :lol

You are right, it is futile to compare the two... but I do wish his scale was more in line with the majority of 1/6 figures. But regardless the Vader is an awesome piece!
