What are all these problems people are having with the joints? I've never had that happen; yeah they're nice and stiff, but it only takes a firm bend to make it work perfectly fine. I still don't see what's wrong with the Sideshow body. Compared to the Hot Toys and Medicom bodies, I really haven't noticed any real difference. Maybe I'm just not nit-picky enough to be a true collector.

Faramir, please tell us you're just being facetious when you say you can't tell the difference between the Buck and the other bodies in the high-end 1/6 market. Because, uh... there has been a world of difference. Otherwise, why else would Sideshow have gone out of their way to develop Prometheus and these other new bodies?

You know, I don't see that there is anything wrong with resurrecting an old image thread. A lot of collectors don't pick up their figures the moment they become available, tracking them as they're sent from the warehouse, etc.

I see no reason why they can't share the joy of their figures, figures most of us have displayed on our shelves as well. Is there a time limit to being a Freak? I hope not! Because I can think of several figures I'm waiting to get, such as Bespin Luke, and I fully intend to post pics when I'm done with him.

The necropost police need to give it a rest. It's not their jobs to keep these boards clean, it's the mods. Seems to me negative and inflammatory posts (such as chavez's contributions in his thread) do more harm in this community than the odd old image thread.
