These pictures are pretty amazing, and the nicest part is how they have displayed a Jedi fighting against a Sith. Looks like I am going to be the proud owner of some probe droids too! Have they posted those pictures yet, I thought the probe droid pack was "inclusive" as well...

Yeah, he look's perfect...with his robes on. Robes off I think he's the best 12 inch Maul ever...but not perfect. I"m going to buy 2.

I'm not a big Darth Maul fan, but I think this is the coolest looking figure so far. I can't wait til they get around to Darth Vader.

You know what, I think it just that his tunic in on too tightly in those pics. I think if were looser, making it look a little baggy, he would be just right. Probably an easy enough adjustment at home.

It doesn't look like he comes with an ignited cut saber? And only the inclusive has the unlit cut in half saber?

I believe the inclusive is meant to come with the ignited cut saber as well (both unlit and ignited)... there's probably just not a pic of it yet or something

I'm not sure if I'm the only one who noticed this, but the pictures they have up seem to have a "lazy eye" problem. I may just be splitting hairs here, but what separates Sideshow from other collectible companies, for me, is more often than not the likenesses, paintjobs, and overall detail. The detail and likeness are staggering, but it would be a shame if the focal point, the Sith eyes, were unevenly done in the end result. It's just a nitpicky thing on my part that I'm very particular about the eyes on my collectibles.

I hope he's not on the Luke short body. He and Obi-Wan were pretty much the same height. Something look's off to me and I can't put my finger on it...yet.

For what it's worth, both Mark Hamill and Ray Park are listed as 5'9" at imdb.com, with Ewan McGregor at 5'10.5".

That's cool. The only problem I have with the short body is the freakish long arms (mind you I love my SSC Luke) And I was hoping they would be corrected after all the crying over Luke.

I'm glad this is a 12" figure becasue there is something wrong with the size of his body (looks to small!) and if this was a PF figure I wouldn't be happy. But it's a 12" figure, so I'm all over this bad boy! :maul

Well I'm glad somebody said something negative first, to me it appears that the head is too large.
Also that center hanging strip of fabric is too short as you can see in this picture:

I Really want this to be the prototype, because it needs some minor improvements.
everything else looks great.

In this picture, it appears that he comes with the single blade ignited double handle saber but it's not shown in the accessories picture:

They did say they would correct the monkey arms issue, it's in an interwview on the RS website.
