I'm expecting a $1700 price tag at the minimum. If this is $1500 or below, I might consider getting this.

Anything above 1500 bucks and I will have to give up any idea about getting this piece.

I seen this guy at SDCC also and as soon as I seen the size of these Legendary scales...I knew right away I wouldnt even think about owning one of these. Awesome yes, but way way out of my price range. Not to mention I was thinking, I dont even know where I would put something like that.

Im gonna go ahead and say $1250, same as there large Life Size Busts. I mean c'mon, how could these be more than the Pred Alien ?? No way it will be more than that.

After the Legacy Neytiri (which is a smaller scale than these new Legendary Figures) I don't think any price would shock me anymore. I could easily see them charging two grand for these.

I'm willing to bet this will be 2K easy if not more. I think they pretty much look at what the market can afford and not "what it should cost in comparison to pieces in the past." I don't know how many they will make but there are always people with a lot of money willing to pay more.

If Cinemaquette can make this scale with silicone, real punched hair, and actor signatures for around $2000, Sideshow charging the same price for a larger scale PF would be a complete rip off.

1999.99. It's all about the 9's ;)

That does make perfect sense, but this is still Sideshow and they tend to be overpriced. Sorry, but they are usually.

Also, I will reiterate what I overheard Brant saying at SDCC in a taped interview with a local news reporter. He stated that the price (referring to the awesome Obi Wan LSF) was going to be $2000.

So, that would be my guess too.

Honestly, I can't think of a single character I would want in this scale. Definitely not a human character. I got this creepy feeling being around Obi Wan, even though he looked amazing. He looked like a little person standing there.

Maybe, just maybe, and if I were rich, I would go for an Alien. But of course SS would help me with that decision too, by giving it some crazy stance. Which of course I don't mind on the upcoming Big Chap maquette, but at 1/2 scale, no way!

Good luck to those of you who want one. Good news is there will likely not be an exclusive, right? So you can go the dealer route at least...

probably it will be around $2k, a bit less I believe. I can only afford to dream owning this figure.

But CM's are 1/3 scale, not 1/2 and all of their human characters looks like ____. Even in the proto stage they've been off, but the final product is just awful.

Not saying Sideshow's final product will be a homerun, but so far I see Maul or Obi Wan being more of a $2,000 product than CM.

Pretty sure there was a video on IGN or G4 from SDCC where someone from Sideshow quoted around $2K for these guys.

scale doesn't mean anything because she is just as big as true 1:2 pieces. I really don't uderstand the comparisons to CM, two completely different companies under different circumstances, and I don't understand the logic that any of these would be more then a Legacy 1:2 statue.

If these are $2k, I think SS will be in a lot of trouble with this line as they will find a extremely small % of ppl will shell out that kind of money for these. CM releases one $2k statue a year, so they can pull it off, but SS releasing possibly 1 per qtr, if not more? No way, again, it's just not logical, they would need to have these made to order because they would sit around for years.

Brace yourselves buds... The Optimus Prime 24" is selling for $1199.99.. there's no way in Hades that they won't milk a $2000K price (or very very close) for this new statue line....just say'in! In in a pefect world the economy is amazing, and we all have $100,000 jobs...:)

2,000$ for this is a lot, in my opinion.

They'd obviously sell more if it was $1,200 or so.

Curious to see how it turns out. I don't plan on buying, but I would like to get the Batman when they do it, so I am curious to see how much it costs.

I do have a $100k job and there's no way in hell I'm paying 2k for it, or can justify a price like that. It's nice and all but if SS has any sense they'll see how IM and T-800 are still in-stock at those prices. So in this economy and all, if they want to sell some, they better be smart about it.
