Here's My maul and thank's for the tip El Roranous:maul

Looks fantastic!! The paint jobs on these are just coming out great. I've only seen one that had any kind of paint issues.

I just got a response about my Darth Maul that was returned last week, which included this statement:

Please note the returned item was inspected and checked for the reported light defect. We were unable to find the defect as the item lights up and has been continually tested since its arrival to our warehouse with success.

So I guess they are thinking that I am either a liar or a complete idiot, lol. I wouldn't have returned a piece that lights up, and I spent a great deal of time working with it before I sent it back and it simply would not work properly for me. Meanwhile, I still haven't heard anything about my Bond...

That's interesting.

I usually have nothing but good things to say about their return policy, but my experience with Maul has been a little frustrating. They seem to be second guessing me at every step of the way. If the thing works, why would I bother returning it? I spent a few hours over two different nights working with it, and they tell me to make sure that the batteries are installed. Thanks, but I tried that one pretty early in the troubleshooting process, lol. Then when they finally let me return it they claim it works fine--and continually, too!

All I can tell you is the one I received certainly did not work.

Very glad to say that I got my Maul from Adam yesterday and it works fine. One of my new favorite PF's.

Very odd. I don't know what 2 say. I hope it all works out for ya Tom.

That does sound pretty frustrating Tom. There really is no reason to go through the hassle of returning something if you aren't sure about it. Hopefully they help you out soon. I think they are running a bit behind and it might get just a little worse due to SDCC.

I wrote back and told them that it would be OK if they wanted to send me back the original Maul with just a replacement saber. They still might just send a whole new figure, but I was trying to work with them a little. I just feel stupid when they tell me that they couldn't find a single thing wrong with it. I feel like I'm being put on the defensive. I'm sure everything will work out in the end, but I don't usually get second guessed by the CS folks and I don't want them to think I am imagining things.

Sometimes it happens to me too Tom. Every once in a while they throw me off guard and ask me for pictures of the problems and then other times they just send a label. It's confusing but I say just roll with it. SS customer service has yet to let me down.

Mine arrived and the sabres light up but his clothes do not seem to 'fit' properly. Not sure if I'm just being picky but he may go back if I still feel this way next week.

I am glad to see that the saber issues haven't hurt the overall popularity of Maul.

As if the hype-machine could be slowed.:lol
