I kinda feel sorry for the guy trying to fight him, it'd be cool to get lessons on how to use a lightsaber, but more privately--and with a purpose, not just going up to him at some convention in a jedi costume and trying to fight him when you have no skills...

that guy dueling him looked like he can swing a saber fairly well. no need to feel sorry for him. sure he didn't have all the moves from the obi-wan duel, but he still looked very capable.

yea it was really cool. i wish ray park was cast as a jedi in episodes 2 or 3. that would of been cool. maybe he could of had a showdown with anakin at the temple, or went with mace to fight palpatine.

Luckily they can take a dog-strike... I was examining mine (twirling/playing with it really) and heard a resounding crack and yelp. Turned out my dog got a little too close and I smacked him in the face. Luckily both he and the saber were none the worse for wear... but he is less curious these days when he hears it power on

yeah just give him an FX saber and tell him to go to town with it. im still trying to figure out the scene from ROTS when anakin and obi wan do the twirling thing and neither one of them were hitting the other. they looked like they were special ed kids fighting and they needed to be pushed closer together.

That is actually my video. I posted it last night after I got home. I am friends with the guy who's lightsaber he was using. He was cringing believe me.

Park was back again today and they did another demonstration with the lightsaber and used the same guy's again. I didn't see today's demonstration but heard he did a back flip. He had signed the hilt of the lightsaber and it got rubbed off so he signed the blade the next time. Another one of my friends that saw it said they were pretty hard on the lightsabers. Park was really cool to do that though.

On a side note, Verne Troyer, aka Mini Me was there today. He did not do any lightsaber demonstrations.

Not sure. It was towards the end of the day. I think it was around 6PM.

They did it again on Sunday at 1:30 PM but Saturday was better because it was spontaneous.

i think it has to be because that sounds like one heck of a deal for both. im still waiting for the episode I/II obi wan saber so i can have a rematch of the duel of fates with my brother.
