You know what guys?! it would be great If the exclusive stand was the missing part to complete the helmet, another neck part of the mask so that you can display the full Vader Mask next to the Darth Vader Reveal Bust, that would be awesome!

If that's the case, I would be happy to put a deposit on it. Otherwise it just doesn't seem worth it to get the exclusive.

The regular Anakin is up now. The EX is scheduled for the 30th.

I'm a Vader guy. I have the ROTS MR helmet, and a full ROTJ costume.

This is tempting. Really tempting.. But the price puts it way out there.

I am not sure the ex. is essential.

I'm waiting to see how it looks and what it does for overall display to make my decision, fork over cash now and get it or, save (providing the regular doesn't require a deposit too) by getting the regular, be able to cancel without any money loss if need be.

I think the head underneath on this bust is very well done, actually like it more then how Shaw looks on screen.

The only way I could swing the $250 deposit right now would be to spend the money that I have set aside to get my wife tickets to see the "So You Think You Can Dance" tour this fall, for her birthday/anniversary present. It's her favorite show and it would be a dream come true for her to get to see the top ten dancers perform live.

What should I do?

$1200, huh. definitely beyond my price range. actually, i CAN afford to get it. the problem is for that amount of money, i'd have to sacrifice too many other collectibles that i also want. and that's just not a feasible option, investment-wise. i'd be missing out on too many things.

anyway, it's interesting to hear some of u seeing anger or anything sith-like in the anakin expression. what i see is a tired old man who is trying to maintain his pride and dignity, and a tinge of sadness in his eyes. it's an excellent headsculpt, feels very evocative to me, and one of the best sideshow has ever done in terms of conveying a character's emotional core.

a true grail piece.

Does anyone know when it's going up for order or pre-order?
I hope it's a PPO, I just came home from work at 11pm and there was so much stuff up for order, I just don't want to miss it!
