After the hype of seeing the first pictures revealed of this and the price and debating whether to get one or not, I simply lost interest. Which is a good thing. Shows I can still make choices and not get everything lol

I had the same reasoning.
With the Pf I was willing to pass, without, it would have been damn tough

You'll be notified with like 3 days to accept the WL conversion or not, it won't happen without you knowing, and once you accept, you can expect the charge soon thereafter.

my guess on the edition size was pretty close (250 for the exclusive and 500 for the regular). I think the waitlist will not work for most, as it would mean someone was willing to lose their $250 downpayment.

I still think some people might have ordered out of hype and will take the $250 hit over $1200
Still the $250 fee should make things interesting, Im sure we will here a few story's of how people lost money by cancelling

I'm sure there will still be some conversions... but yeah, not many as the deposit will keep most people in line. Heck, even if I couldn't keep it... I'd try damn hard to scrape together the cash only so I could at least sell it off and not lose the deposit.

300 is a good ES... not too many, so should help it hold value.
