I really like the bust .I was little dissapointed with the exclusive .Ok the display stand will work for the most but i was hoping for something else .Maybe an art print or breathe effect .Its only me that thinks the stand should be included with the bust ? Don`t get me wrong but i was expecting a lot more from SS .It`s an expensive item and my standards were high for this ..Either way it will be a definite purchace for me.Unfortunately i cannot afford giving 250 $ in front and not be able to cancel if something happens .So buying this from a retailer will work easier for me, too bad that i`m not in the U.S.

I'm actually quite impressed with it though I do wish the stand was included with every bust. The head sculpt was really an expected and pleasant surpise. I'm not located in the states either but believe that the final stand will be kick ass and ordered the exclusive. For those on the fence I would say vader is worth gambling on.

Do you normally buy many Pf's in a years time?

I've bought a couple PFs this year with another on preorder and one on current Flexpay payments, so that's why I didn't order Vader. Plus the $250 deposit would really hurt.

Think that's the main thing. PF collectors will find that the bust does not quite fit into their collection. I'm lucky that I only have one PF to date, though Yoda seems to be trying a mind trick on my wallet. So far it's not working.... not yet anyway

I disagree. I own every star wars PF made to date, along with a number of MR buckets and the recent grievous bust, and have been able to display them all quite nicely.

I see what your saying.
So on average you would spend under $1500 on your collection for the year.
I would like to get to that point

My wife hates any collectible spending I do, but she's probably more tolerable on multiple items totaling $1200 than one item.

That's a good point..... I was hoping for a better EX accessory. But yeah, the $250 non refundable deposit is pretty steep. And ANYTHING can happen within a year until it comes out.

But good idea, I'll probably just pick this up from a retailer later

Well, I bought mine for $1100 a couple years ago..... I'm not sure what they ACTUALLY sell for, but I think the last REGULAR version sold on eBay for $700. Mine is the single signature version (signed by Hayden Christensen) I would realistically like $1000 for it, but I'm not in a hurry

And actually, looks like the last SE version of the MR Vader helmet sold on eBay for about $950

Hmm... Initially I was going to sell my MR and reinvest the $$ into the SS piece. I had just gotten mine maybe 3-4 months ago, reg. version, for like $550 shipped...

So I think Im going to keep it and IF I end up getting the Vader bust, just display it next to Anakin sans the SS helm. The SS helmet just isnt going to look right with out the neck piece...stand or not...

Oh I know... That's my dilemma right now. I really love the new sculpt of the MR Vader helmet from ROTS.

But the ROTJ 1:1 Vader helmet is just way too cool... It would almost seem like over kill to have two different Vader helmets in my collection
