I would if you can accept the kinda akward pose. Armor and costume is accurate, lots of lightup features and a massive base

I've stated this before, but worth re-iterating. I think this one is unique in the fact that it is a much better statue standing alone versus on a shelf with other PFs. I have mine all by itself on a table and it looks fantastic, very iconic. The other important aspect is height positioning. I originally put it on a shelf that is over my head and the "looking upward" pose was horrible. With it at eye level or below, it works much better. The new Boba PF is just the opposite, it looks terrific overhead.

With all of the negative feedback on this figure, I flexed it after it came out and stretched it out as far as I could. I almost cancelled it every month pmnt came due. For whatever reason, I didn't. I just got it in hand last week and was totally blown away. Probably because my expectations had been set so low. I absolutely love it and am glad I reluctantly pulled the trigger. I do agree it looks best by itself all lit up on a lower shelf though. Really it's to each their own...if we all liked the same things, the world would be a very boring place.

why I sold mine after had him for 10 min displayed .. it really either you love or hate it piece... depends on your taste I guess (I got good taste btw )

I don't think it had any QC issues, so if you like what you see get it. A lot of people love it.

Personally I think the base is too big (it's too tall even for the new fett) and I don't even like the bottom part. And the worst part is the pose, it doesn't make any sense and is completely unnatural for vader on top of looking weird on a statue. But that's all opinion, as I said I don't think there's been any paint or QC issues so if you like what you see go for it.

Other then the old SS 1/4th it is the only 1/4th Vader statue on the market. If you mean like statue that's for sale right now you're also probably right but I don't believe there are really that many others if any available? So yes, by dint of having no competition it is the best in those categories. If you mean of all time I'd have to disagree with you, there are plenty better including one done by SS.

I'd imagine it's possibly a bit better in person. Even if thoughtful and majestic why is he doing it while going down stairs (or up supposedly according to SS, though no idea how he goes up backwards). Also thoughtful and majestic aren't words that should apply to Vader. Dark, brooding, ruthless, etc. No EX though, it should be available for a while so you can wait. That new Iron Studios one though, man that looks epic.
