great PF but i am ok with my original Vader PF.

Although the new lightsaber is a good reason to think it over....

I never much liked the first Vader PF myself, I like the concept of this one though. If it turns out nice I'll probably end up grabbing him.

I, like you Python, never did care for the original one much, but this one is an easy buy.

My favorite villian of all time will definitely be in my collection in 1/4 scale

Add that to my second favorite villian, Magneto (XM Studios), and this is turning out to be a good couple of years for me

I'm hoping the new statue will be better than the first as I found that one to be rather underwhelming to be honest & ever since the release of the Malgus statue, I've yet to come across anything that's more impressive SO as Vader is my favourite Sith, I hope Sideshow give him the wow factor like they did for Malgus..., if it's done right I'll not be able to resist & I know they can do him justice as I'm very happy with the Mythos statue.

The interesting thing about the first Vader PF is that, by himself, the statue is very "meh". Pair him with the Obi-Wan PF and it is a totally different vibe, much more iconic. I actually built an additional shelf in my room to appropriately support the two together in their ANH duel pose. With all that said, I'm getting the new one!

That's a very valid point, on that note, I wonder if a new Luke is in the works to fit with this Vader..

The Jedi Luke PF is one of my biggest disappointments ever. And as someone who owns one, I really am wishing for a V2.
