Dagobah Yoda PF please.

From what I understand, SS are unable to do a 1/4 Yoda. It's something to do with the fact that he was a puppet and therefore technically a prop. So they can only do a PF of him if he's with another character, like the Clone Trooper/Yoda PF and Dagobah Luke/Yoda PF.

Unless they did a prequel trilogy yoda since he was CGI.

Because technically it's a prop replica when it's 1:1. They would need a different licence for 1:4 props. Or that's how I understood it anyway. Maybe someone else can clarify.

MYC has an amazing 1/4 ESB Yoda up for sale right now if anyone was interested.

I see, ok..., thanks for the info. It does seem strange though that they can basically make anything else but Yoda is a problem..., were the Tauntauns, Jabba & Salacious Crumb not seen as props (for instance)? I know they're all 1:6 scale but I'm still trying to get my brain in gear with why 1 character is a problem but others aren't..., it's peaked my interest. lol

It is very strange, and I honestly have no idea why Yoda is such a problem. That's just what I read a while ago. I was wishing for a 1/4 Yoda myself and was disappointed to read that SS wouldn't be doing one because of those issues. That's why I was ecstatic when MYC announced he would be doing one. Perhaps it's different for 1/6? I know they did Crumb in life-size but not 1/4.

I have heard before that Yode couldn't be made without another character & did try to get to the bottom of why then (on the Rebel Scum forum) but never did find out why!?! I suppose one possibility might be that the license belongs to another company & they've maybe not done anything with it?

I guess nobody knows the full story except Sideshow. They can be so secretive about their licences a lot of the time.

Saruman never held a Palantir walking down the stairs so that won't stop them from making a pose like that if that's what they decide.

It's always artistic license with Sideshow and poses. Nothing is ever direct from a movie scene, so don't expect this to be any different.
