Premium Format Darth Vader [ROTJ]

I am real pleased with the pose, but would have liked them to keep the extra step. As showed in the earlier proto shot.
Have been drooling some time for the one from gentle giant.

To get this with mixed media and bigger, is fabulous.

Gentle Giant's statue looks awkward from most angles, I find that looking at it straight on is the best way to have it displayed..., it's not one of my favourite Vader's though so I'm glad Sideshow went for less steps, the pose would've been far worse.

Haven`t seen it in person. Just by the stock photos. Have thought in a long time this may been a great piece.
With keeping the xtra step as SS showed earlier. I ment just to keep it, without spreading the legs as GG version. I liked the xtra step from SS earlier proto because it defined the base as stairs more than it now shows. Now it is more like an single edge.

If this wont be an open ES, i think the ES will be low considering only a few will order this due to price, lights and pose. Then people will start to panic because of its low ES.

this will get a HUGE ES ... no matter what... on top no EX .. My guess at least 5000 ... maybe 7500 .. IF not open ES

Well the ES won't be known for a couple of months anyway so there's no reason to worry about that today.

So it's not only me that thinks they gave him a T-Rex arm.

why we even compare to all those Vaders.. the only Vader that is on top is the ATTAKUS nr.1 Vader and probably this new one from Sideshow ... all others are even to small or just somehow awkward ...

if HT would come out with one.. you can do the same pose as Attakus and you have it in 1/4 scale mixed media .. that would be my optimum !!!

I think the Mythos might sell out pretty quickly now this has been fully revealed, I may go for that myself.

yeah think i might use a good chunk of my rewards points for the mythos now and use the rest on the new PF, just to be safe since the PF should be around a lot longer.

The small left arm is what really bugged me about that piece. Otherwise it's a fine representation.
