Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)
Potato should be the leader.

A-dev is also great, I agree. He's probably my favorite person on here.
You're ****ing dead to me bro!
How do you already know that their F4 movies is crappy? And you don't think the direction they're taking the F4 in is risky? I'm sure they knew switching up the ethnicity of Johnny Storm wouldn't sit well with the fans, yet they seem confident enough in the movie and the director/cast that they didn't cancel and let the rights go back to Marvel. If they were interested in just making crap to keep the rights, why didn't they do that with Daredevil? Another question I have is, how do we know they weren't behind the leak for Deadpool to gauge fan interest and build hype for the movie? Ryan Reynolds' playful tone almost seemed to confirm they were behind the leak when he brought it up at comic con.
I honestly think Marvel has also taken major risks, one of them being Guardians of the Galaxy, and their cinematic universe in general. Sure, I hate most of the movies they make, but when you look at the bigger picture, it's pretty impressive to see what they've done, and how consistent they've been with their movies and television shows, all existing in one world, all the steps they took to get to the Avengers was a risk in my opinion.
Hey Pturtle, hows the 6% critic rating for fantastic four treating you? Looks like you favorite movie studio is doing all the right things again.
Sadly, that isn't true. That's 6% higher than Marvel's Fantastic Four film
That's 6% higher than Marvel's Fantastic Four film
"At least it is better than a movie that was made twenty years ago on a shoe string budget" is not exactly sterling defense of a movie that came out yesterday. Not that I am a Marvel fanboy to begin with.
Slap a dark knight make over in hopes of getting audiences to take the material seriously. Throw in feeble attempts at universe building inside the film in hopes of creating their own avengers-esqe franchise. Really the only thing propping up fox's superhero genre is bryan singer....and if they keep their greedy, shameless paws off the deadpool movie, it may end up being good.
Did a lurker seriously dig up an old post to call someone out?
After seeing how bad the reviews were on rotten tomatoes, I remembered someone arguing with me about how the fantastic four movie could actually be good. I came back with actual evidence to show that FF movie actually sucked.
That's some female-level vindictiveness right there.
Actually I was originally talking about suicide squad when I mentioned in passing that I thought the new FF movie was going to be bad. I also mentioned that I thought the new deadpool movie had the potential to be good. Obviously Pturtle disagreed and we went back and forth for a few messages. Notice while I said that 20th century fox basically sucked, and he responded that marvel sucked, I never directly insulted pturtle, and he never directly insulted me. If you think what happened between me and pturtle was a flame war or even a heated argument, then you obviously never been to a youtube comments section before.
But you seem keen on bringing this down to that level. I mean look at yourself. You got the outlandish name tag and the outlandish signature, displaying a compulsive need for attention. Jumping into other's people conversation and bringing it down to the worst common denominator because you have a insecure need for attention seems like female behavior to me.
BTW, normally I don't make gender/race/religion based insults. But I am bringing it down to a level you would understand.
