Re: DC's Suicide Squad movie

Which is the way it should be.

Nolan's Batman doesn't fit into a JLA universe.

Re: DC's Suicide Squad movie

Everything is following his lead now...just to have a JLA movie, the whole thing has to be rebooted from scratch

He's no longer involved with DC, and he barely had anything to do with MOS. In fact, he was against Sups killing Zod, which is one of the things people complained about:dunno Blame Snyder and David Goyer if you don't like the DCCU.

Re: DC's Suicide Squad movie

I'm not a fanof will smith being cast. They could have done soooooo much better. Jared Leto will save the movie IMO

Re: DC's Suicide Squad movie

I think I know what the Joker is going to look like in the new DC cinematic universe. They are going to use TDK's concept art and make "rockstar" Jared Leto a "punk" Joker with spiky hair and once again, makeup...maybe even some scars too. :slap

Even if he doesn't have the scars, he'll probably be wearing lipstick as a way to enhance the smile, which is something DC keeps doing after Ledger....and it looks lame, imo. (it worked on TDK and Ledger)

Re: DC's Suicide Squad movie

They've been doing that since the 80's in Returns.

That's not lame at all.

Nah, in TDKR (returns) the lipstick stays on his lips, and I'm ok with that.

What bothers me with some of the post Ledger Jokers is how they can't just have a big mouth/smile, they need to put those extra red lines on their cheeks/face, and I don't like it....but that's just me. The smeared makeup works on Ledger, but other that, DC should stay away from that design, imo.

Re: DC's Suicide Squad movie

Thinking about it, Octavia Spencer would have probably been the best choice, I’ve seen her play that no nonsense type before. Viola Davis in the few movies I’ve seen her in, doesn’t seem to have much range, and seems to overact a lot in my opinion. I know the deal isn’t done yet, so hopefully they end going with Spencer.
