Carol Danvers a ****!

Kamala Kham a cute! CUTE!

PC MM > Stronk Womyn MM

Eh, it depends on the artist. Oh, and the curvz and the bewbs. But still...

>>>>>>>>>>> All

As for writting, well, yeah, Khamala >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>....... [99999999999 x > later] > KSD Carol

Honestly, most of the PC brigade characters are average to boring, but IMO, Khamala, Robbie and Miles all are very good ones. Cho is a bit older, but he's damn entertaining. Hell, he's the only kid genius I actually like. In contrast to Lunella, who's a ****ing obnoxious ****.

Right? You know me with this stuff don't you? You know how much I HATE PC stuff...

But Kamala is PC/raceswap done right, there are a couple others that are also great examples, like Miles and Robbie.

Most PC characters are ALL about what makes them PC, so much that they have NO character at all:

>im stronk womyn hero
>oh, u stronk womyn hero? me stronk womyn villain, i surrender because we stronk womyn
>im stronk womyn too, bub
>im black lol

But not the likes of Kamala and the others I mentioned, their PC treats only define them so much as characters, just the cultural baggage that defines us all to a certain point for having that cultural baggage, nothing more, the rest of her character is defined by her personality and their actions, and both are interesting as **** to read.

True. None of the PC characters have any faults or troubles, they just always have to be right, they just always have to be the best, yadda, yadda, yadda. But all the ones I mentioned do have their own share of problems and faults, just like any other character. Cho's desire to get it on does lead him to **** up tons of times. Miles being inexperienced leads him to make mistakes. And so on and so forth. Robbie's book I picked up on name and art alone, but he was a genuinely great protagonist. He wasn't a genius, or a guy who always did the right thing, he was just a nice kid put in a bad situation, not unlike Johnny Blaze. Miles's origin wasn't unlike Peter's, but he actually had to fight his supervillain uncle.

The problem is that Marvel treats these characters as untouchable, mainly because of the blacklash. I mean, when Bendis wrote this scene:

Not-Black-Spider-Man.png

He and Marvel got tons of flack on the net, same with Cap. So the more the SJW scream, the more we get crap like this:

And the reason for that is because of their raised profile. The movies are a global phenomenon now, and so every single yaoi artist who jacks it to Stucky and Stony fan-art suddenly has a voice in the matter.

Now, it's not all bad. Amidst the sea of stupid PC stuff, we're still getting some gems, which is true for most books from the Big 2. Me, I'm sticking with the B-Listers and my favourites. And even then I'm willing to drop stuff. Silver Surfer was so absymal, I couldn't justify. Personally, I'm down to 2 Valiant titles, 2 Image ones, 7 Marvel ones, and 1 DC. I'm waiting for JSA, JLA and New Gods to be announced, and that's it for me. I've got no interest in a Harley Quinn SKWAD, a mess of a Green Lantern book, and SPEEDSTA POLICE Flash book. Deathstroke is interesting, but the whole double shipping thing really hurts my wallet.

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

Bendis wrote the first one? :lol he made fun of the SJW so good :lol

Well, in comics in general, it's mostly **** and then some gems, probably in all mediums, even with indies. You just need to know how to pick them up.

Yeah, that was the one good thing he's written the last couple of years.

Personally, I go for characters first, then writer, then art. So, for example, I picked up East of West and Black Monday Murders just because of Hickman, Black Panther due to the character, and the previous Deathstroke vol due to the art. But his writting was atrocious, so I dropped it. Same goes for Silver Surfer. The new Cap book I picked up due to the twist, but if something better comes along, I will drop it.

PS: The most "extreme" case I've encountered with a book, is that I won't touch anything with Storm in it. So, even though I love Magik and really like Lemire, I'm satying the hell away from Extraordinary. Same goes for Invincible Iron Man due to Bendis.

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

What happened here is that WB was happy enough with Ayers' first cut that they said he could go back and shoot some scenes he had originally has to cut out of the script for budget reasons.

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

It was? I'm gonna have to read it. Because TWS tie in was pretty bad.

Mad Max one was pretty great too.

From what I remember, it was decent. Don't hold me to that though, I only read it once in a hurry.

Yeah, the Mad Max ones were more like regular books than just tie-ins.
