Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

I thought liking this was a millennial thing, after all, it was marketed for me and Crows ; _ ;

Whichever side disagrees with you are the millennials. :lol
I disagree Khev, I think you're wrong about.... Whatever position you took about this movie cause I haven't been reading the discussion... :lol

I really like this outfit. I bet HT is going to release Harley in the jester costume and Mr J in this tux.

Damn, that does look great.

See, it's things like these that make me feel I'm gonna like at least some parts of this...

That's the outfit I want most for a Leto Joker figure. Heck, I'd be happy if some company like MAFEX made one. I'm surprised there's no merchandise for it.

This movie sucked. I hated it. And I liked Batman vs Superman.

Maybe it was to avoid spoilers, but the early marketing focused a lot on the shirtless/purple coat. However, now I've seen more of a focus on the black tux. He's even wearing it on the music video and in a few magazines and Joker cards. I think this black tux is his "official" Joker outfit, while the other costumes are his casual clothing.

I think SSF has been invaded by the POST FOR PAY groups trying hard to spin this average film.......

Lots of "newish" folks around here seem to love to praise this movie....

What's wrong with them praising a movie they like?

Harley could have broke the store window her diamond cutting ass.

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

It has the right ingredients and vibe.

Don't worry in 6-10 years critics will be praising this movie during one of their purge sessions.

When The Thing and Friday the 13th Part 1 were released they also received the equivalent of a 29% RT score.

Both are now hailed as masterpieces

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

You can't escape, born millennial, die millennial.

I guess "cult status" meaning a botched movie that's still pretty good and well liked?

GOTG and Deadpool, love em or hate em, seem to have turned out exactly as planned.
Well, the Thing was considered cult before the new gen of critics said it was actually a masterpiece.

Pulp Fiction was cult since its release until it went mainstream, now it's a classic as well.

That's why I ask.

Exactly as planned never gain cult status.

But WB can't release an extended cut, that ruins the formula. :lol
