Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

Yea re reading my post makes its seem like I don't think TDK trilogy is as great as I do think it is. To me TDK is by far the best superhero movie and I really can't see anything surpassing it. As a trilogy its one of the greatest ever, but I do think Raimi, Singer, Burton, and Donner made brilliant movies featuring superheroes as well. These days we're lucky just to get a good comic book movie.

The Nolan trilogy is amazing . I consider the movies the Ramin spiderman and singer x men movies as Gen 2 and donnnerthe the classic they good in there own right, but I don't think they can survive in this post Nolan comic book movie world . People are getting picky about what they want to see and in think x men suffered for that it had a weak showing and I think casual movie goers are feed up with typical super hero plot " and on this week's episode of evil master mind " look what happened with x men age of apocalypse.

I just hope these movies understand they need to connect on a emotional level or else they are indistinguishable from one another . Or I guess you can ride the train like the force awakens and we just can keep recycling the same thing and just make it let's have the heroes fight and throw as many of them as we can on screen. Give us emotion and I got that with BvS to a certain degree.

Like the upcoming WW I don't want DC version of the first avenger I want a war movie and all that comes with it aided by super hero mixed in, but at its essence I want a great war film romance triumph and tragedy.

I was really disappointed with how they handled the fist cap. it could have been a really good, gritty war flick. instead we got a cheesfest. WW looks to be doing the right thing.

I liked cap it's was like directed by the same guy who made Rocketeer and worked on the temple of doom it was a cheese fest but, I knew Disney would never give us the grit that's not there style but I hope you are right and we get more of that in WW how much I am not sure at least more then we got with Cap .

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

After the massive spoilers that were shown over and over in the BvS trailers I'm very glad that SS didn't give away:

Flash's full costumed cameo

or even make it clear who the main villain/s were. Kudos to them for that.

Leto:

“I think that I brought so much to the table in every scene, it was probably more about filtering all of the insanity. Because I wanted to give a lot of options, and I think there’s probably enough footage in this film for a Joker movie… If I were to die tomorrow, maybe the studio would roll something out. Rated R or rated X performance in there somewhere."

“It feels like there could be more to come… I think it entirely depends on the response of the public. If they respond to this Joker, I could imagine The Joker coming back, but if they don’t I certainly wouldn’t want to overstay my welcome.”

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

it's a good thing one of the bigger complaints is more joker, means people want him to stick around. thought he did awesome!
