I definitely didn't think that the movie was going to be about Amanda Waller assembling a team to enter a destroyed city and take down the Joker. I assumed it had to do with whatever was tearing apart the subway and sending monsters after them. I thought they made it pretty clear that he was going to be a poisoned pill running around causing trouble while they were fighting magical/supernatural things.
The trailers did suggest that Enchantress would be helping them out but I like that kind of misdirection.

Well, he certainly knows how NOT to mess up a Hollywood career that's for certain.
Extended cut of bvs was way too successful and even critically better received and it even turned some haters into fans.
WB and DC would be insane if they dont make an extended version.
Not only for all the money they will make with an exented cut but the great word of mouth and the new fansa longer cut would create.
It would be an extremely poor decision for the studio to not do this
Yes...yes...misdirection, not false advertising.

Masterfully done, master.
But something that is longer for the sake of being longer just to give some extra Joker backstory to fanboys? Nah.
Yeah...good luck with that.
