I definitely didn't think that the movie was going to be about Amanda Waller assembling a team to enter a destroyed city and take down the Joker. I assumed it had to do with whatever was tearing apart the subway and sending monsters after them. I thought they made it pretty clear that he was going to be a poisoned pill running around causing trouble while they were fighting magical/supernatural things.

The trailers did suggest that Enchantress would be helping them out but I like that kind of misdirection.

Nothing will ever top the horrible bait and switch of those first awesome 2014 Godzilla trailers, that's for sure.

I think one of the unannounced DC films will be 2019 SS sequel. Bet Ayers won't be back.

Yes...yes...misdirection, not false advertising.

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

Extended cut of bvs was way too successful and even critically better received and it even turned some haters into fans.

WB and DC would be insane if they dont make an extended version.
Not only for all the money they will make with an exented cut but the great word of mouth and the new fansa longer cut would create.

It would be an extremely poor decision for the studio to not do this

If Ayer says the best cut of the movie is the one in theaters then I don't want anything else. The only Extended Edition I would have accepted would have been if it was a RoboCop situation where he made it hard R (or NC-17) and his cuts were more of a censorship issue. Then I'd want to see his original cut. But something that is longer for the sake of being longer just to give some extra Joker backstory to fanboys? Nah.

Either tomorrow night or Wednesday morning Imax. :gah:

It's killing me. :lol

I have seen every superhero movie since STM opening night, never missed 1 until now with SS.

My 38 year streak has been broken!
