Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

Margot ****ing Schmargot. :lol

You are being very unAustralian right now VDG. You know the drill - as an insecure country we need support our exports no matter what and take their successes as validation for the rest of us. Get back on message please.

(Although I agree with you, Morena all the way)

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

You're right, it was tough cramming 15 seconds into my day....:slap

Why don't you super fans state why this movie isn't ****?

Is it the enormous character development of slip knot? The incredible dialog between the fresh prince and his daughter? Or maybe it's the artsy artsy graphics at the beginning to introduce the villains....or maybe it's that fantastic ending where after saving the world the " heroes " get espresso and BET

All cinematic genius and it must be why you were compelled to spend 26 hours of your life watching it over and over and over...

i think its ridiculous that people cant accept that others like things that they may not like. you talk about wasting time because someone watched a movie they enjoy. i think its far more wasteful spending hours on end on a toy forum trashing a movie over and over, and for what? whats the point? your not going to change peoples minds. and why do you even care what movies or toys others like? is the world going to end because me and others and millions around the globe liked SSquad? i dont think so. i enjoyed it, i thought it was fun, loved seeing these characters on the big screen and i thought Deadshot, Harley, Waller, and the Joker were fantastic. it very much captured the comic book world especially the DC52 run. so you didnt like it. it is what it is. not a big deal. all will be ok, im sure.

just enjoy life and not worry so much what others think about a movie or toy. people will like things you dont. i dont like the Penguins, im a bruins fan, but i dont go on forums trashing the pens.

our opinion is just our own personal opinion. nothing more nothing less.

I really hope the box office success will "force" them to release "Original Cut". :lol
It just sounded like a waaay better movie to watch.

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

What does it matter to you how others spend their money and time? It's not your time or money being used or spent.

I think everyone gets it...you don't like the movie and that's fine. You've given your opinion now move on to something else you do like.

Remember that the boards Code of Conduct says that "repeating the same criticism over and over again is unlikely to change anyone else’s mind".

But see it works the other way around too

just because someone hates it doesn't mean they are stupid or dumb or have crap taste or doesnt mean that person couldn't appreciate the greatness that was SS or it desnt mean they are marvel shills or that they are smug etc etc etc.
thats what you guys dont see, i always ALWAYS notice this on the internet, when people start to hate on a movie the defenders start to attack the person's taste and character. It could be very very subtle, it could be sneaky. it doesn't even have to be direct to the person, could be an off the side comment.
It works both ways, no matter how much a person's taste or intelligence gets insulted they wont be able to see a bad movie as good. Im not saying thats what you did with your reply but I keep seeing it in the forum from time to time.

Besides you guys forget how the worst thing about this movie was

Repeating the rules is unlikely to change anyone's mind.

Three weeks at number one.

David Ayer right now.

Anyone notice that this movie was a jumbled, unfulfilling mess? Screams of studio interference. Some of you may not have noticed. Now, you can go ahead and revise your misguided and uninformed opinions.

WW come to life on the big screen against all odds.
But take a look at her now. There's just an empty space. And there's nothing left here to remind us, but the memory of her face.

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

I just want a Joker/Harley movie after SS. I really had no feelings towards any of the other characters. None of the rest made me a fan or made me hate them. None of their powers/abilities were new/exciting/cool and made me want to be that character.
So many of the fight scenes were shot so close up that I couldn't tell what was going on. I wanted to see Harley do flips and stunts from the other side of the room. Instead, we got such a close up shot that I could barely tell what she was doing. Same with the rest of the Squad. It was poorly lit and shot too close on so many scenes.
I didn't hate the movie, it just wasn't what I wanted. The story should've NEEDED the Suicide Squad. The mission should've required a group of people that are willing to do ANYTHING to win. They'll cross lines that Batman and the JL won't. Joker should've been the villain and they needed the SS to finally take him out for good... Because we know Batman won't.

If we do get a Joker/Harley movie, I'd like to see many of their iconic scenes they used in SS again and fully fleshed out.

Actually I think she was the only one who came out of the BvS disaster unscathed with a trailer for her movie that everyone actually loved! :lol

I wish I could make Snyder turn around. Turn around and see me cry. There's so much I want to say to him, so many reasons why. He's the only one who never knew me at all.

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

the only thing that matters to DC is the money

the same way that it goes for transformers, ratings mean nothing, only box office is king

WTF, that's gross, looks like a pig instead of a pug. :lol
