As is your sarcasm detector.

Some people don't take statements like that lightly. This board has been very inconsistent in what is ok and what is not ok depending on the person posting it. As a mod, you apparently have impunity to say what you like without consequence. Others may assume they can post in a similar manner and then get an infraction or banned. As sensitive as this place is to bullying lately, it seems like promoting an uncomfortable atmosphere, even with sarcasm, isn't prudent.

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

do you understand now?

i only see people stating over And over why they loved it ad nauseam :dunno (not criticizing but just an observation) first you hate on the pugs and now you are talking about stating the same over and over but the ones doing that is you guys :dunno
Why do you think this entire conversation started.
i even asked Khev if he thought the hate in here was extreme and he doesn't think so. :dunno

I dont have a problem at all with you guys but it seems you are getting triggered strongly by ANY criticism whatsoever. :dunno just saying.

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

I don't think the hate in this thread is anywhere near the level of some of the other movie threads.

As a mod I don't have a license to offend so I'll take your suggestions to heart. Setting a bad example due to having a sense of humor that not everyone shares or understands definitely isn't what I'm going for.

People who are fans and haters (and yes, mods) can indeed all be annoying but people should keep in mind that the board's Code of Conduct does favor those who are politely speaking positively about something over those who keep trying to crap on a thread as a means of gaining attention, notoriety, being "right," etc. So in that regard at least all posts are not created or treated equally.

this might be the mildest thread for a movie of this kind. (a movie with such polarizing opinions I mean) the hate for this has been PG in terms of intensity compared to most movie threads that have a troubled opening with fans like this had :lol

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

Well, the BBC just released its 100 greatest films of the 21st Century and the only superhero movie to make the list was TDK at # 33.

They pulled from 177 critics from every continent except Antarctica (duh), from print, online, academics and cinema curators (that sounds important).
