Mel is a bad *** but his opinion about Hollyweird are hypocritical, he is part of the same fabric, big budget, low budget, green screen or real location.

He's benefited greatly from the big budget spending machine that is Hollyweird so give me a break.

He's just pissed that the jews are still running the show. :lol

Nice new sig. :lol:rotfl:lol

Mel is an angry man- he makes me laugh! Love 'em!

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

He's a talented actor. It's a shame about his personal struggles but he just keeps chugging along and if nothing else he's honest.

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

It's hard not to be tainted when your best known roles are from Transformers and the widely reviled Indy film I guess. Interestingly, the first movie I remember seeing him in was Constantine.

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

Hes very good. He was great in fury.
He was great in Holes. He was good in constantine.
Disturbia was good. Lawless was good

Hes not a bad performer. He would have been much more memorable than the guy they got, i dont even know his name nor remember anything he has done besides crappy robocop.
He was kinda meh, just a nameless soldier following the squad. Nothing memorable about him.
Shia would have made that character more memorable.
He is not a bad performer

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

Yeah, a good actor but seems to be less and less grounded as a person.
He should watch his bad mouthing of Spielberg and others who are potential employers (though it did seem insightful and telling)

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

I think the dude cast as Flagg is quite good, as well, though he may be a bit typecast at this point. Cop in Robocop, soldier in this, former soldier in House of Cards.

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

I only knew Kinnaman from The Killing. That was a really good show until it drastically wasn't anymore. He was good in it and had a good, weird chemistry with his co-star.

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

He wasnt horrible or anything but just felt like an extra soldier that just happened to have some lines.

Tom hardy or shia would have made it have more impact
But that could be because im not used to seeing this actor.

Maybe it could just be about familiarity
