Warner Bros. just signed Margot Robbie to a first-look deal in which she can develop projects through a banner called LuckyChap Entertainment. According to The Hollywood Reporter, one of the first projects she’s going with is a Harley Quinn spin-off.

The possibility of doing such a thing with the character has been rumored for a while, but now it’s official. One of the rumored story ideas for the film was a DC female superhero ensemble movie. Whether or not they’re going with that angle remains unknown. But that would certainly be cool.
I liked her in the movie. I get giving her a spin-off. But allowing Robbie to develop a sub-genre of DC movies? What exactly qualifies her to be making those kinds of decisions?*

*But then, I could say the same about WB's executive board:

Maybe this isn't such a bad move.

Definitely a balls-y move by WB. It would be like giving Renner power to make his own Hawkeye movie. :lol

:lol :lol :lol

Now Scarjo will be complaining.

No, BW will be in it. Don't tell anyone that though, because it can only feature ONE hero remember? That's why the HQ spin-off is going to suck, cause it's just her walking around Gotham, only interacting with citizens. /s

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

Eh it's totally different.

Harley Quinn is way more popular and relevant than Hawkeye. She was basically the star of Suicide Squad where Renner was the loser of the group in both Avenger films IMO.

Plus Harley sells... Hawkeye doesn't. I wouldn't be surprised if her film does better than Ant Man, Wonder Woman and Thor :lol

Doesn't matter to me, his look wasn't the problem, it's was his acting. In my opinion.

So the Joker could have looked like this:

but if he acted the **** out of it you would be okay with it? :lol

okay, well which look do you prefer then pturtle?

Lose the star, normal teeth, then perfect

agreed, I like what we got more over this concept version though.

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

I really like that fan mock-up, apart from his teeth, star tattoo, and the Ledger scars.

It looks a lot like his Endgame look which, considering he was going to have half of his face burned in the original cut, was possibly going to be the main inspiration for this Joker?

I'm happy with the final design though.

If the clown look fit in with the context of the film, and he gave a good performance I'd be happy.

I do like the unused look though, only thing i don't like are the scars since I feel like it's ripping off Ledger look a bit.

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

Ripping ofg ledger would have been better that what we got

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

i disagree, it would feel like ripping off another portrayal. i'd rather have a fresh take like the one we got.

but the one we got was just ripping off every other cliche mafia villain of any action movie:
