I actually think they are changing the EX. Batman was displayed with his EX hand. Superman was regular head last year and same this year. Bodes well for those of who ordered the EX despite the worm eyes. Change it!!!!!!

That or they just decided not to insult Andy B, the lead sculptor, by displaying Martin Canale's Ex head at he big show the same way they didn't show the Andy B. Longeared Batman head on he Batman sculpt when the lead sculptor was Canale. I know I wouldn't want to piss those guys off by not showing their work at the big show.

Edit: I was wrong the symbol is different then the proto.... But that doesn't mean the rest of the statue isn't the prototype. However, if this is a PRODUCTION PIECE I am OVER THE MOON HAPPY with the quality.

Wow nice! Over the moon happy is definitely one way to describe how great this piece looks. Can't wait to get it.

No kidding...I'm more than happy with it too. I'm over the thicker trunks over last year's thinner trunks. With the new clearer close-ups, I don't think they look too bad at all. The only thing I would change is to have his trunks a little more flush with his belt. But I can live with it if it doesn't turn out that way. His crest looks fantastic, and I hope it stays that way. What an epic Superman this'll turn out to be.

Supes look good, but I don't care for the changes they made to his shorts. Having the red fabric stick out above the yellow belt makes it look ragged and cheap. There should be no red above the yellow belt line, IMO. Other than that little nitpick, I am excited to see this in person.

This is the one I am most worried about with the painters getting the correct flesh tones and eyes right on him. I pray they take great pride in this particualr run. Don't have to worry about that on my BMan PF.

Well King, I was just over in the Marvel forums and it looks like Deadpool as hit another delay. 'm really hoping that none of the DC statues are coming out of the same facility, otherwise taking their time might not be an issue.

But Why could SSC not just kept the batman Emblem the same because it looks like the Superman emblem is the same material that the original production piece Batman Emblem was made out of..

That Angle would be kinda good too if they do a Darkseid and he's taller than Supes. You could get that whole looking bravely at danger kinda vibe going.

After seeing the Man Of Steel and the side by side comparison of these two pieces I've been converted. I definitely think the one to get is the Comics Superman. I love the brighter colors and the sculpted cape looks beautiful!

Without a doubt! Those 2 pieces were made to go together and besides, the comic version also looks better.
