lol, I wouldn't pay Sideshow prices for a statue/PF of any of those, except maybe the Bermejo. None of those are on the same level artistically as Lee.

Gotta love the Leinil Yu Metrosexual Superman :rotfl

faster then a pedicure, more powerful then a lavender bath....

You're high, All three of them have better anatomy, more depth and a better sense of composition and dynamic figure drawing than Lee.

Lee is a good artist but his drawings for the most part feel stiff and his use of the same male face and head for every single drawing (except wolverine) is repetitive.

He also has the bad habit of recycling the same 10 poses for the last 20 years.

I love Finch's Batman, I haven't seen his take on Superman yet. I do like Ross, but it doesn't seem as iconic as Lee to me.

Lee more Iconic than Ross? :cuckoo:

When I refer to Finch's Superman, I don't mean his new 52 version, but the one he does for sketches and commissions. Yeh he draw Batman really well too.

I'm actually liking that finch has taken up the brush more in the last few years his paintings are pretty amazing.

What better to make a statue which by definition has only one or maybe two poses, then by an artist who has made a living by mastering a small number of poses :yess:

I'm just glad your not the lead designer for SS statues, although it would probably save me a ton of money over the years :stick

that I like. Seems your taste isn't all bad :wink1:

I wouldn't talk about taste when Lee tops your list.:wink1:

Yeah, I'm really digging this as well. Nice Josh! BTW... who's baldy?

No, most likely Spook or 12 days.

Most impressive Version of Superman?I think I've already gone through this, in this thread by the way, but let's take a look at a few.

Rags Morales (though I hate the jeans and tee-shirt look)

And those are just a few I'd take over Jim lee.

These are "more impressive" then Jim Lee?! Lol :cuckoo::thwak:moon
You're right there have been a few Jim lee pieces, but that doesn't mean that they can't be toped.

I never liked Ross's style but if you like Ross's stuff I see why you like those others, in the end nobody is wrong is a matter of preference, what we all must agree on is that lee's is better, lol

Yeh, he really is a 3-d artist and one of my favorite artists ever. LOVE his work.

Someone needs to post Jim Lee Superman images to make their case, so we can actually visually compare them lol. Jim Lee is a GREAT artist but hardly the best.

i hope sideshow charges $700 for superman so only true fans will own it
