did someone delete a post? I was just reading a post about an interview with the sculptor who said the second head was going to look like a Anka Superman print. I was about to quote it asking if anyone had a link to the print and I don't see the post any more. :dunno

I can see glowing red eyes, I remember seeing that concept somewhere else, I think it was back when the license announcement was made, but a Jim lee angry red eyes head would be killer.

There's been enough Jim Lee statues done. His Superman isn't even close to the most impressive I've seen.

I don't mind the angry look but let's leave Jim Lee out of it.

lets not. I like Jim Lee's version of Superman :yess:

out of curiosity, what is the "most impressive" you have seen?

Most impressive Version of Superman?I think I've already gone through this, in this thread by the way, but let's take a look at a few.
Leinil Yu

Lee Bermejo

Rags Morales (though I hate the jeans and tee-shirt look)
Superman_0142.jpg

And those are just a few I'd take over Jim lee.

lol, I wouldn't pay Sideshow prices for a statue/PF of any of those, except maybe the Bermejo. None of those are on the same level artistically as Lee.

Gotta love the Leinil Yu Metrosexual Superman :rotfl

faster then a pedicure, more powerful then a lavender bath....

Pretty much. Also David Finch makes a decent classic Supes as well as Alex Ross. Also the Buscema brothers make cool Supermans even though they didn't work on the actual books.

How is Leinil Yu's Superman metro? I'm not saying Jim Lee or Leinil Yu is better but I don't get that from his picture...

But overall I think Alex Ross is my favorite Superman artist. So Iconic and classic.

I love Finch's Batman, I haven't seen his take on Superman yet. I do like Ross, but it doesn't seem as iconic as Lee to me.

When I refer to Finch's Superman, I don't mean his new 52 version, but the one he does for sketches and commissions. Yeh he draw Batman really well too.
