If he's looking for the EX, there's no way to find one for retail now
No, he won't find it for retail but he could probably score one in the $550 + shipping range. The EXs are still pretty reasonably priced in the aftermarket. Who knows how long that'll last for? This PF came out looking great and I would definitely look to pick up an EX sooner rather than later if I was in the market for one.
Is the REG sold out at SSC? I know the EX is long gone but I thought the REG was still available.
The regulars on eBay should still be going for retail or below.

This is utter nonsense. Yes, maybe if you live in Indonesia and unfortunately do not have air conditioning but other than that, ONE person has stated they have leaning issues out of 7500 statue owners. Not too worrisome a la Psylocke or Rogue. This statue is still a classic. Like all polystone, keep him in a cool area away from heat or direct sunlight and it will be fine.
Yes, they did mention casting issue. Maybe the later batch had this issue. If it is true, ss is being upfront amd good. They are willing to offer full refund.

Nice! I haven't found anything that cheap. $450 + $50 shipping seems to be the going rate. Contacted a few people about going directly through PayPal to hopefully get it closer to $450 shipped. Hope to find someone with some buyers remorse soon! lol

Wow, I had no idea the REG sold out at SSC. So much for all the peeps whining about the ES being too high on this piece.
As a few other peeps suggested, keep an eye out on ebay. They don't go for much more than retail there. Also, keep an eye out here. Some members may put him up in the for sale section at a good price. An EX just sold not long ago there for just $50 above retail (the seller just wanted to get back his shipping costs). This one is still pretty easy reasonably priced for now so it would behoove you to pick it up sooner rather than later. Good luck.There's nothing to be remorseful about on this one
Yeah, no kidding. This is one of SSC's best pieces.
That's highly overblown. I've had mine displayed since I received him and he's as straight as an arrow. This statue leaning is not a widespread problem. If it was, there'd be a lot more complaints than the few we've heard about.

When I get my framed Superman print hopefully it'll be immune from any leaning issues. He could lean in or out from the frame.

Maybe it was just a bad batch (( shrug )) or maybe in a few years all our Supermans will look like that
