That may be true with some sellers on eBay, but you should be able to get a good one from the sale section here.

Yeah, I may have to do that cause I got the framed print coming soon but with no Superman PF to go with it. I guess I could use my Seinfeld Superman to go with the print but it's too small for a proper match-up display. This time SSC didn't put out a notice warning that they were running short on him like they usually do. And if they did, I didn't see it.

You could always put a cloth cape on him, I did, but more for space saving than because I was worried about weight. As for Batgirl, I can't wait for her. She looks awesome so far.

Cloth cape bought from where, or self made? Would love to get one myself.

They don't do that anymore

To those who tried replacing the felt pads of the base? Were they easy to remove? I'm planning to change mine with plastic ones but I'm afraid I'll damage the base.

You can just peel them off. But I just placed a couple of pads around the old one. For me, it was trial by error to make sure all the pads were touching the surface and to keep the base stable. Hope that helps.

I see, thanks. I just assume it would be easier to level the base when I change all the pads to plastics at once.

No problem guys. In my case, it was the pad wearing down. Just use some rigid thick vinyl pads like the ones for glass table tops and reinforce the cape side and you should be good. Simple, majestic, and hopeful, Sideshow really nailed Superman to a tee didn't they? I have nothing but love for this piece and I can't recommend picking him up strongly enough!

Greattt. Thx mate

Replaced the base pads and got a cloth cape from Dan. Very happy with the result. :love

Will replacing the pads underneath resolve and prevent the leaning issue?

The pads are the leaning issue. The weight of the statue is wearing them out and causing it to look like the statue is leaning when in fact its the pads wearing unevenly.

I'm sure there's truth to what you say regarding the pads, J-A-T. However, my brother's statue was having its boot pulled out of its peg hole, so the weight of the cape is still a concern for leaning or something to keep an eye on at minimum.

You can PM DynamicMenace on SF or get a hold of him on Facebook.

Wlvn, your Supes looks great!
