Well that's just annoying.

Yup! I got in line early and my morale really dropped when i found out it was practically a raffle, but I was still pretty happy when i got my batman figures and the green lantern ones as well.

Awesome Buttmunch! Looks like a justified piece to purchase vs the series 1 Batman. I never knew the cape was that tattered. Just got one from ebay and can't wait to get it. BTW are those blood on his legs? I'm trying to google search for a review of the figure but no luck.

I don't think its blood, more of just dirt and grime. Its black so it could be blood too I guess. Or maybe he was helping with the oil spill in the gulf

Anyone on the fense, buy it. I doubt it will ever go down in price (unless he ends up a traveling exclusive like Hal and Sinestro) so its a fairly safe investment either way. Plus you get an Arkham figure 6 months before the first series

I'll probably do what I did with my Twilight Zone Nurse's syringe:



I took one of the pins that comes with a new dress shirt (straight pin) and used a wire cutter to cut off the end and fit it to the end of the syringe. Looks great. Maybe a little dangerous. Will just have to keep the figure out of the reach of my friends kids.

Thanks for the pics Buttmunch good to see what the back of the cape looks like. Any chance of showing us a picture of the stand too Buttmunch? Can't wait to get this in hand now!
Like others have mentioned previously, it's strange that DCD can get this out now but we have to wait another 6 months for the first 2 waves...

If this was being sold on play.com or forbiddenplanet i'd have bought it before now but with the prices on e-bay, i'm a little put off . Sure i'd have a bats figure months early but it's not that much different to regular bats.

The prices on ebay are quite harsh for us Brits! But I had to get one anyway and thought the sooner the better really... just incase the price goes up even more over the next few months once they become scarcer.
It's true that the differences between the BD and regular Batman aren't huge, but at least it is a look he had for most of the game and it's not like they just painted the cuts on. I'm usualy against variant figures but this one I couldn't pass on since it mirrors his look from the game.

Got mines yesterday and looks badass. Looking forward for this series, never felt excited since the announcement of the DCD Batman:Hush series.

Just got mine in too. Love it, such a great figure all round. The joints are nice and tight and the ball joint on the head works really well. It's great having the extra artic on the gauntlets and boots too.
The only downside is having to wait another 5 months for the rest of them!

Thanks! Yeah he is an awesome figure, looks much better in person too. The cape's a lot softer & flexible than I thought it would be which is great also!

I don't think I can get over the blue cowl going straight to black cape.

That's the one thing I don't like, there wasn't a variation in his cowl and cape colours in the game. I think i'll be taking a brush to mine when I get it. Paint it all the same colour.

I actually don't mind the colour variation anymore, now I've got used to it I like it quite a bit. Granted, it's not accurate, and I would of course prefer it was all one colour, but for me it's still an awesome looking figure.
It's not even that bad a variation in hand really. It's also difficult to tell what the overall colour should be since in the game and in promo shots the colour varies too.
If DCD had used the same colour for the boots/gloves/cape, I wonder which they would have gone with.... Personally I think the blue works just as well as the black, so I'd have been happy if it had been made in either colour.

The color changes depending on the lighting in the game, which I thought was really cool, so I know why they did it. I just wish they had done it on a gradient instead of the abrupt change.

Speaking of the game, have any of you seen the secret room that was just found after a year or so hidden in Warden Sharp's office?

Yep! Really cool bonus find that, with cool stuff relating to the next game in it takes a few tries getting into the room though!

I thought it was awesome that the sequel info was right under our noses the whole time and literally no one knew.
