Need to get my hands on that battle damage Batman! Hopefully I'll be able to get one on eBay. Looks better in those pics than the last we saw - you can clearly see tears in the cape there too.

Yeah the damage looks great. He has a damaged suit for the majority of the game so it's a figure I wouldn't mind having!

One thing it could do with though is the damage over the eye.

I'm just pleased to see the damage is actualy sculpted in rather than just painted on. (movie masters Batman springs to mind!) Definitely a variant worthy of having though!

Never played the game although it was on my to-do list but I will pick up the Joker, I love the way the figure looks compared to the other figures in this scale.

Anyone picked up the Battle Damaged Batman from SDCC? I'm really tempted to get one off of ebay and wanted to know if the BD is worth getting from the people who owns them.

I know from reading on another forum that Buttmunch has the Battle Damaged Batman - he seemed really pleased with it and also impressed by a couple of extra bits of artic that weren't apparent before.
Just bought one off ebay myself since that was the only way for me to get one. Now onto the frustrating wait while it ships!!

On Sunday of the show they couldn't give these away so I know they had leftovers for sure. They did that stupid raffle system again, and needless to say they had a alot angry collectors once again. I myself went to their booth to give them some "advise" on how to run a fair system :lol

But by Sunday they were giving wristbands to everyone and guess what? no line whatsoever. I got a wristband and so did my boy but not because he wanted a figure but because he like the bat-symbol on the bracelet :lol. I got busy with panel and such and never went back.

How much are the Battle damaged bats going for on e-bay?

Buttmunch i'd love to hear your thoughts on the figure mate

The price for these is quite high on ebay at the moment. If the price is likely to inflate over the next few months then now might be the best time to snag one. I can imagine interest in the BD Batman growing again once the two waves come out next year.
I agree it would be cool if Buttmunch could give us a few photos and his opinion on the figure here for us :D

Even though I put a thread in the WTB for this figure for only a day or 2, I'm just going to get one off of ebay. I want the figure bad. It's a plus that DCD sculpted the damages too.

Ok, sorry for the quick, crappy pics. I'm still recovering from SDCC. I got a ton of stuff to ship out to people this week (if you are one of those people, I'm sorry, please hang with me!).

So we need to start out with a dark, moody pic first right? :lol

And to answer your first question, thats the Sideshow Shrine of Dagon base he is on. It looks great from that side as one of the cliffs Batman could have been on in the game. The old Stone Wall Environment is behind that.

And I would think that series 3 would have a different Battle Damaged Batman, one more heavily damaged. Like maybe post Titan-Joker fight, or maybe just before. He gets pretty beat up by the end and this is more of maybe just finishing with Bane damage. Just the scratch on his chest, arm, leg, and the cape starting to tear.

And I have to admit I was impressed with the figure. A bit more articulation than I thought just looking at him (he has movement at the top of the boots and gauntlets). Sure, he isn't going to flawlessly take down 15 thugs at once, but you can probably get a few decent fighting poses out of him. The biggest problem are the T-hips. Had he had ball joints or something like DCUC he would have kicked serious butt! I know one of my fellow Utah collectors (who I ran into at the con) plans on bashing him with more articulation :rock

I was thinking, maybe break staple in a couple pieces, straighten it out and shove it in there. course that doesn't help the danger part of it.

I'll probably do what I did with my Twilight Zone Nurse's syringe:

I took one of the pins that comes with a new dress shirt (straight pin) and used a wire cutter to cut off the end and fit it to the end of the syringe. Looks great. Maybe a little dangerous. Will just have to keep the figure out of the reach of my friends kids.
