Hey guys, I've really been trying to avoid buying these because of the QC issues they have been having (and expense), but since they are trying to fix the issues I'm really looking into picking a few up (BTAS only, I don't think I could afford both styles). For anybody in the know, what are the new release dates? I know they have done a lot of shifting around, just not sure where things set now. Any help is appreciated.

BTAS Mr. Freeze is #1 on my wishlist for this line. I don't see why not. It seemed that Croc from the video was pretty sturdy. So I think there is hope for the durability of this line.

Best news I could have hoped for!

- Next waves will not have hip holes

- Wave 1 will be rereleased with new plastic and without holes

- The line will eventually extend to Justice League!

Jim Fletcher said something to the effect of "future productions of Wave 1 will feature improved plastic" & that you'd be able to recognize them as being from a new run in the interview with AFI.

Now that would require there to be new production runs of Wave 1 of course... but I am sure there will be given sales of the line so far.

Due to improvements in plastic and overall QC, Wave 2 and 3 have been mixed up and will be released as follows:

March - Joker (TAS), Robin (TAS) and Man-Bat (TAS) [all from wave 2]

May - Killer Croc (TNBA) and Creeper (TNBA) [both from wave 3]

June - Harley Quinn (TAS) [wave 3], Poison Ivy (TNBA) [wave 2] and Robin (TNBA) [wave 3]



Wave 4 and so on:

July - Wave 4: Batman (TAS), Penguin (TAS), Riddler (TAS) and Batgirl (TNBA)


October - Wave 5: Mad Hatter (TAS), Nightwing (TNBA), Scarecrow (TNBA) and Bane (TNBA)
+ Batmobile (TAS)
+ Roxy Rocket (TNBA) deluxe figure

Yeah, that looks damn great. This line is a dream come true for me. Also, I found another Youtube tour of the booth, and in this one, Jim Fletcher talks about how they've been brainstorming everything from other vehicles to play sets. I was curious how in-depth they'd go with this line when it was first announced, as DCC/DCD has a really good history, when it comes to how thorough they are (Justice, Arkham, etc.), but, never, in my wildest dreams, did I imagine something like this.

This is a dream come true for me, too!

Batman and this series have not just a special place in my heart, they own my heart.
No other character/movie/tv show comes close to Batman, to me.

I had already made my mind when I saw the first waves and when I got Catwoman, but that Batman and that Batmobile only made it more sure to me:
When it comes to collectibles, from now on, I'm only buying this line (TAS versions). I'm completely commited to this now.
I'm not buying anything else 'til I complete this line.
