Here is what I have so far for Bats but I'm still working on small changes. I'm not 100% sure if I'm happy with the eyes and I might do the blue highlights. So far the chin and the bat ears were resculpted + head repaint job.

Always love your work, Zelu. Bigger eyes look better, since that's the way they are 95% of the time in the series.

I use Sable hair brushes, they are really soft

Each brush has a different type I usually choose 0, 000, etc or sometimes it's called 5 or 3

Any hobby store or a Michaels will carry these. However I prefer art and Hobby stores, I've used brushes from Michaels and they alright but I found my hobby and art store had better quality, of course, they are a little more expensive but so worth it.

Oh, tip use Acrylic paint because if you mess up you can clean it up with stripper or little soap and warm water, enamel takes longer to clean up

I like the Gunze or Gundam Paint or Artist Modeler brand. For these you can use a cheap Americana, Folklore bottled acrylics that are like 99 cents at Michaels

Did a little painting job in Photoshop with the (totally better looking) Prototype and a little layer effect

Got Man-Bat yesterday and was blown away by him. I can't believe they sold him at the same price as the other figures, especially when they included two sets of wings.

@ GeneralZodLives I know, right! I don't like the character that much for fo this price he was totally worth it!

@batmon85 yeah that Bats looks perfect. I'm going to work more on my one tomorrow as I'm not happy with him yet.

I just got the Tim Drake Robin and he is awesome! Is it me, or are the figures sculpted by Gentle Giant studio's better than the figures from Irene Matar. It's just what I see, but this is what I think.

So far by Irene:

- Batman (NBA) (perfect)
- Catwoman (eyes are weird)
- Joker (The ugly head, you don't recognize joker at all)
- Robin (BTAS) (he is too short)
- Poison Ivy (perfect, maby the eyes)
- Batman (BTAS) (The white eyes)
- Penguin (The monocle and the sigaret)
- Batgirl (As you can see with zelu's picture, the head isn't that great.)
- Man-Bat (perfect)

Gentle Giant:

- Mr Freeze (perfect)
- Two-Face (perfect)
- Robin (NBA) (perfect)
- The Creeper (little bit too big)
- The Riddler (perfect)

What are your thoughts?

I think a lot of the issues you mention are paint related and not sculpt related...

Catwoman's eyes drive me crazy - i have tried so hard to ignore them as the rest of the figure looks great - but every catwoman figure i've seen she either looks like her eyes are rolling back up into her head or she looks like she is passing out. Her eyelids are swollen or something . . . i really wished that, in upgrading her to the new quality, they could somehow fix her eyes.

Yeah, it is mostly paint issues. Repainting figures like Catwoman and Batgirl make them near perfect. The paint quality is a real issue with this line, even more so than the plastic in my opinion.

They would be the first release. If the deal doesn't pan out I'll wait for the re issuses too. I'm just impatient and want them now.

You're not missing out with the first versions. They are extremely problematic. I went through two Mr. Freezes and returned both of them.

Ok so I had another go at Batman and here is version 2.0 I added the blue highlights and it looks pretty good actually. What do you guys think? Eyes smaller/bigger? (I don't know why but I have a big problem with Bat's eyes)
