I felt the opposite. BTAS Alfred is the only Alfred I've ever liked (save for the 60s Napier Alfred). Much better than the Michael Gough or cockney Michael Caine Aflreds.

I've liked all of the on-screen Alfreds, but I agree that Zimbalist's portrayal is Alfred; whenever I read a book, his is the voice I hear.

Exactly. That deadpan, dry wit made his character. It also made those moments of genuine warmth, like the one in my previous post, that much more special.

agree all the way sir, i think alfred TAS its the best alfred, the closest one with that i think from arkham origin.

We have 6 members of the Justice League, yet BTAS Alfred was the only one smart enough to console Hawkgirl. Best Alfred ever.

You know, I hope DC Collectibles makes Batman: The Brave and the Bold figures eventually. The art and design of the characters on that show was so great and classic. It's too bad Mattel never made good figures from that show
