DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Guess it makes sense that they're actually 1/6 scale (the article's title says 1/6), but it says 1/12 three times on that page. That's the article's goof; left me confused.

They’re 1/6th scale and to be completely honest don’t hold your breath with Mondo figures I have their tmnt figures still on preorder because they still have failed to release half of them more than a year after them going up for preorder...

I ordered their Ramona figure from Scott Pilgrim over a year ago as well. Its been delayed twice and i still haven't seen it.

I love mondo, but I'm still not convinced of them as a toy company. Knocked it out of the park with Iron Giant, pretty much screwed everything else up. I also don't love the way this animated Batman looks.

Holy misleading perspective, Batman. Supergirl is clearly in the foreground and the shot is looking up. That's why I dismissed that shot when I saw it on Google and used the more accurate, head-on shot in my post.

I got Batgirl today and I think she's a great figure! She looks fantastic next to Batman and Robin. My only complaint is the hair really, but even that looks good in an action stance. Overall very happy to finally have her, now bring on the 5-pack and Batcave!

I wasn't referring to the head. I thought your parenthetical made it clear that was beside the point:

Supergirl is the perfect example of a figure that might be in proportion to itself (minus that huge noggin) but is arguably out of scale to Superman.

I was referring to the overall scale of the figures compared to the scale of the characters as seen in the show. Supergirl is quite wee compared to her cousin, as your own images illustrate.

So yes, she's got a huge noggin (and big feet and scoliosis):



But she was designed that way. And yes, she's short, too, just like in the series. If the animators couldn't consistently stick to the character designs, that's on them.

To be fair, I'd expect more consistency from CG animation than hand-drawn. If we ever get a Green Lantern line it'd be great if DCC could leverage the character models used on the show.

I do love her too, for what I can see (I still don't own her). She looks so cute. Love all the sculpt and colors scheme - very accurate, in my opinion.

It's just the floating hair that bothers me a bit, even though I think it looks OK the way you've posed her.
I might have to add more hair to the shoulders with modelling clay.

I give her a 4/5 score, just because of the hair.

I still hate the hair and the pointy chin on Babs. I prefer it as posed above, but it's like Clayface, I have to have him turned side on to not look so pointy and shouldn't the figures look right fro all angles?

Anyway - pics have surfaced of the Harley expression pack and the Joker mobile from SDCC. Also better shots of the Joker expression pack. Let's hope we do get a Batgirl one at some stage. Oh and you know, Two Face Sacrecrow etc.

The Harley set looks amazing. The car does too but is such an easy pass for me.

My only fear is that no new figures will be shown/announced this weekend. That means no new figures shown till next Feb and that makes it a years wait to maybe get a Two Face and Scarecrow
