I like Breaking Down.
I think we are talking about the same film, but its Falling Down.
Also, that film has a strange connection to Batman lore: it was directed by Joel Schumacher!

Yeah, I meant that one.
Breaking Down is another movie with Kurt Russell. Not a bad movie.
Epic Comeback as in what?
They already had their epic comeback with Aquaman breaking 1B something even JL couldn?t accomplish.
Joker ain?t breaking 1B.
Or do you mean critically as in Joker will be DC?s first superhero movie to be considered Nolan TDK quality.

Breaking Dawn is Twilight. Breakdown is Kurt Russell. Not that I blame you for getting all those titles wrong since they came out before you were born.
I like Breaking Wind myself.
"Arthur’s uncontrollable laughter looks as though it physically pains him; his body is rail-thin and battered, his misery is etched on his deeply creased face. He looks healthier and livelier -- dare I say happier -- as he transforms into Joker than he ever does as Arthur. Phoenix captures all these tiny nuances in Arthur and his interactions with others that reveal so much about this disturbed individual’s inner life."
Many of you already hate/move toward skeptical because it's a DC movie- if Nolan directed it you'd be eye-rolling and since he didn't the claim of "all hope is lost" becomes your motto
..and oh yeah Batman Begins and The Dark Knight still outclass anything Marvel has done...by a long stretched out mile
So to me it's a bit like saying which is better - Alien or Godfather? Each one is masterful at what it is and what it set out to be. Neither is 'better', it's only a matter of which you're in the mood for at that particular time.
I?m super thrilled if this movie is a masterpiece.
Believe me I am no DC hater and while I grew up a 75/25 Marvel/DC reader for many years DC movies ruled cinema while Marvel only had a Hulk tv show to its name.
Superman 2 was the first time we witnessed superheroes fighting each other in a major metropolitan city no less!
I am looking forward to this Joker movie I will be there first show opening night but no matter how great it is and no matter how great TDK is they still don?t diminish or out class what Marvel was able to accomplish.
Cap?s moment in EG has now joined cinemas other greatest iconic moments nothing to scoff at or brush aside as just fluff.
Lets see if this Joker can join that list hopefully it will i?m certainly rooting for it.
Should I start judging or criticizing DC because they only seem to create masterpieces with just one character, The Joker.
As soon as that one character was removed from the Nolan trilogy narrative it went downhill even with the same director!
Marvel put up on screen how many characters again?
Exactly.

I doubt you'll like it. Joker won't be doing triple backflip kicks in highly choregraphed fight scenes.
Already sounds boring lol
