Well, just saw this tonight, my kids were happy to watch it a second time so I could go with them. Yeah, they loved it.

I thought it was brilliant. Not quite a masterpiece, I think, and not quite the most important movie in how ever long Michael Moore said, but I do believe it is an important movie.
I love it when "comic-book movies" tackle serious issues and boy oh boy, did this one tackle a bunch...
I won't get into the politics of it, but let's say I fully understand why european critics loved it and a lot of U.S. critics didn't.

So, just as a movie, I thought it told its story brilliantly. Fleck as the unreliable narrator, the cinematography, the music, the acting... damn, it was all amazingly done! I loved the little nods here and there to comics and other movies, Phoenix absolutely shines, hell, even DeNiro managed to seem alive most of the movie. As the story unfolded, it was chilling to see Fleck's (and the city's) descent into madness, slowly picking apart what was "real" and what was only in Fleck's mind never being quite sure who or what to believe. Just an all round fantastic movie.

Now I can only hope they don't try to make another movie with this Joker... let's just leave this alone, it doesn't need anything else.

Movie is scratching a billion. Well deserved. All that controversy only boosted the success

Well deserved good for DC they realized they couldn?t beat MCU at the grand cosmic scale literally Thanos stole all the hype away from their Darkseid introduction so going back to a proper gritty realistic Joker was a perfect choice for counter programming against a bad ass Cap wielding mjolnir alongside weakened Hulk.

So what else does WB have up their sleeves.

Joker fans are already warning WB to not make a sequel or introduce Batman into this world you know just what WB wants to hear coming off their successful movie lol

I really hope for WB sake they made Cheetah have hallucinations, hate the 1%, bullies and be on medicaid programs in WW2.

WW will now have graffiti on her invisible jet lol.

I say it?s perfectly fine to bring Batman into this universe just make him a heroin junkie simple.

Heroin junkie Batman on lunch boxes coming real soon!

Kids you too can battle your inner demons just like Batman!

Any good places to stream this please?

Normally against that and will wait to buy the blu ray but don't want to risk spoilers. I live on a small island and the 'cinema' doesn't even deserve to be called that.

Thanks.

Goes to show you that when it comes to Han Solo and Indy people only accept Ford because of his cinematic origins but the Joker character can be open to interpretation because of his comics origins.

Interesting.

Now i?m thinking Suicide Squad was a box office success solely because they included Joker.

I’m surprised at the revenue this film has made already considering I’m not hearing too much buzz from Hollywood about it :dunno
