Todd Phillips announces sequel to Joker entitled: The Rise of Joker

Apparently it will be the end of the Joker saga.

And it will be billed as "The End of the Saga that Began in 1966," lol.

30 year time jump from this Joker to the next one. Joker is now a cranky butler in Wayne Manor. "It's time for crime to end."

I?m surprised at the revenue this film has made already considering I?m not hearing too much buzz from Hollywood about it

Hollywood wants gun violence from this film and feels is not pushing their agenda or polarizing the crowds with their sickness. Literally keep up with the reliable news outlets regarding this film, a lot of oscar voters are not even wanting to watch this film and even voters amongst themselves are calling each other out if this doesn?t get nominations, i am like gtfo, it?s their freaking job to watch, no wonder no one watches them anyways.

It?s been interesting since the media is back pedaling on this movie now that it?s breaking records, they WERE ready to call it a box office bomb or that it sucked but still it?s fun watching the media meltdown on both sides regarding Joker. They are mad this movie makes you think and doesn?t insult your intelligence or that it didn?t incite the incels they were looking to get.

True, I didn't think a Joker film starring Phoenix and directed by the guy from the Hangover would make this much money.

When they first announced this, I thought it would be another Solo. Glad it turned out well. WB/DC really needs some success after their failed Extended Universe.

At first I was surprised China didn?t let it play it?s not like it paints white America in a caring light as a positive place of human excellence I mean even the good guys are bullies. I?m surprised though that a movie set in the early 80?s didn?t touch upon police corruption I guess the director was not a fan of Serpico only Taxi Driver.

But then it made sense that they banned it because of the underlying theme of a governing body of elites not giving 2 craps about its citizens and the V for Vendetta Fight Club style uprising is not something they would embrace with open arms.

Shame all protesters in HK aren?t wearing Joker masks lol

LOL... Yeah I guess that would be the reason it isn't shown in China.

I really feel bad for the folks at Hong Kong. I don't see this ending well for them. China will bear down on them, and the world won't do a thing because it's against China.

I picture Batman in this universe to be like Christian Bale in that one TDK scene where he rammed the car with his lamborghini. You know, basically street clothes with like an exotic sportscar (black of course) customized to maybe have bulletproof glass and that's it. Maybe at most some custom metal paneling like Thomas Jane's ride in Punisher.

And then 90% of his crime fighting is basic detective work while maybe doing his own Buffalo Bill routine with a cowl and cape in front of a mirror before going out at night, lol.

He'd wear a black jacket, a Zorro mask and carry a baseball bat.

Later on, after being dubbed 'The Bat Man' he will add a gold colored embroidery of a bat (mammal) to the jacket.
