Yes, the lack of blood is noticeable, so much in fact that I just noticed last night that Joker's face was cut by Batman when he told him," I know how you got these" and shot him with the gauntlet spikes. :lol It took me 11 years to notice the extra cut on his face. :lol

O I thought he cut him on the shoulder all this time lol

How embarrassing it would have been for Bruce if he said that line and then missed with the spikes, lol.

That's the type of thing we need to see a lot of every time Falcon throws Cap's shield, lol.

I can?t believe I read an article saying that Hollywood was stunned that Will Smith?s clone film took a backseat to Joker last week at the box office

Did they really believe Will would beat Joker :lol

Who was more psychotic

Napier

Ledger’s Joker

Arthur

Remember Napier was fairly young when he killed the Waynes :horror

We know very little about Jack and Ledger's lives, but they both display SOME symptoms of Psychosis in their movies. Arthur on the other hand, we know very well, and he just about has all the symptoms associated with psychotic behavior. I pick Arthur, simply because we get to see his life from his POV and we know more about him.

Psychotic disorder symptoms.

Behavioral: disorganized behavior, aggression, agitation, hostility, hyperactivity, hypervigilance, nonsense word repetition, repetitive movements, restlessness, self-harm, social isolation, lack of restraint, or persistent repetition of words or actions

Cognitive: thought disorder, confusion, belief that an ordinary event has special and personal meaning, belief that thoughts aren't one's own, disorientation, memory loss, racing thoughts, slowness in activity, thoughts of suicide, unwanted thoughts, difficulty thinking and understanding, or false belief of superiority

Mood: anger, anxiety, apathy, excitement, feeling detached from self, general discontent, limited range of emotions, loneliness, or nervousness

Psychological: fear, hearing voices, depression, manic episode, paranoia, persecutory delusion, religious delusion, or visual hallucinations

Speech: deficiency of speech, excessive wordiness, incoherent speech, or rapid and frenzied speaking

Also common: nightmares or tactile hallucination

In short, Arthur displays just about everything on that list. :lol

Didn’t Ledger’s Joker tell the story that he took a knife and screwed up his own face because of his GF cheating ..that’s pretty :cuckoo:

Yes, perhaps he truly believes those different stories about his scars he tells people or maybe he doesn't. It's hard to tell how his mind works, but he's definitely crazy.

He used razor blades to cut his face to make his wife feel better about her face after she got her face cut because of a gambling debt. That's the story.

I do think Ledger Joker has daddy issues. His first story was about his dad killing his mom and then cutting his face with a knife. However, later in the movie Joker tells a guy that he reminds him of his father and that he hated his father. That might be the only thing that he said about his past that was actually true....or not. :lol

What was Leto Joker childhood like lol

A privileged kid in the burbs who listens to to many rap songs and started to rebel and get cringy tats while still living off his parents money. Thinks vaping is cool

Clown you really should stop posting that gif. Not only is it one of the biggest spoilers of the movie but IMO having it in gif form also does a disservice to all of the build-up that came before.

It does look like a very disturbing moment. Much moreso than any killing in the Burton or Nolan films.

Anyway, I'll remove my quote of his post.

edit - actually just deleted my post entirely.

Yes as great as Nicholson and Ledger were they were still relatively "safe" Jokers compared to Joaquin due to the inherent restrictions of trying to appeal to a wide audience.

Ironic considering that this new one just topped $738 million (without China!) and is already reaching a wider audience than many PG-13 flicks today.

And lol at jye.
