If the person in the cab really is the woman from the train then like ajp said I could just see her being one of the first "converts" to the cause for obvious reasons.

And didn't the clown drive by when he was out on the sidewalk with his pretend girlfriend? Since the flashback later revealed that he really was on the sidewalk and only the girlfriend was missing I take that as meaning that everything but her was real in that moment, including the clown.

Jye believes that it was all a fantasy. Even the obvious twists in the story that are meant to show what was real and fantasy. :lol

The guy from the Hangover didn't write a very complex film, but people are making it more complex and subtle than it actually is for some reason, so he will go along with it if it elevates the film in his mind.

This is a movie that had Joker literally spell out the plot of the film, "What do you get when you cross a mentally ill loner with a society that abandons him and treats him like trash?" :lol

Not exactly Nolan/Ledger level dialogue there.

Well then if that?s the case then back to Joker influenced by medicaid cuts, union greed, Trump children and baby daddy issues

meh

Makes him a weak minded individual looking for an excuse.

Billions endure the same if not worse and they don?t become criminals.

I prefer the fantasy angle now lol

Romero was a complete mystery, but his gadgets and overtly elaborate traps clearly show he was a genius level criminal, despite the cartoon nature of the show.

Jack was a life long criminal and had a chemistry background to show his intelligence. He was used to using weapons and created a deadly toxic that could have killed the whole city.

Hamill cartoon like Jack, was in the mob before his transformation and was great with chemicals.

Ledger is a mystery as well, but he's clearly a master strategist, manipulator, and experienced with weapons. He can also handle himself in physical confrontations better than any Joker we've ever seen, since he effortlessly took out one of Gamble's bodyguards easier than John Wick could and got the upper hand on Batman in a fight.

Leto is a mystery, a successful criminal and likes tattoos. He works out a lot and has a great body.

Phoenix is a simpleton. A nobody who dreams of being somebody. He has no real skills or attributes. His mental illness makes him the most unpredictable, but also barely functional as a person and as a criminal. He's dangerous because he's easy to underestimate and because he is truly not in control and cares very little about the outcome of his actions.

lol @ Leto

I was ok with how Joker ended on the car meaning I could respect his transformation up to that point but then they went and added that ridiculous edit from the car to the jail.

I still think the movie had some spectacular scenes.

So let's ignore the Adam's apple because the guy has long hair and brown eyes. :lol

To be fair, she does have a prominent larynx:

I've got to watch that video though, but I don't think that was her in the cab. The person in the cab looked a lot bigger than her (bulkier) from the screengrab but that could be the clothes..

I'm watching TDK right now on tv. It's so great. I think Joker was going to tell Batman the real story behind his face scars, but Batman threw him off the building.

The conceit of Nolan's Joker is amazing... but its not really true to the Joker. Where's the Joke in the Joker's schemes? There is none. Because Nolan's Joker is actually the ultimate anarchist; he is chaos. A great idea! A great character! But actually not a true Joker.

I like Ledger's villain whether he was the Joker or not. Take away the purple clothes and green hair and make-up, and he'd still be a great villain. Dressing him up like the Joker only adds to the Joker, taking away those things does nothing to minimize Ledger's villain.

lol

I think it?s time for a Nolan Batman trilogy rewatch but only after my horrorathon.

Btw man that subway actress is super hot like a cross between Phoebe Cates and young Demi Moore.

THR is reporting that Leto was so pissed off about this movie that he worked feverishly to get it stopped thru his agency which also has Phillips as a client.

He felt super angry and betrayed by WB.

lulz
