Final scene of Joker 2:

Joker : We will. We *can* make Gotham pay.

Penguin : What about escalation?

Joker : Escalation?

Penguin : We start carrying semi-automatics, they buy automatics. We start wearing Kevlar, they buy armor piercing rounds.

Joker : And?

Penguin : And, you painted your face, televised a homicide. Now, take this guy.

[pulling out a file]

Penguin : Wears a mask. Jumps off rooftops, has a taste for the theatrical, like you. Leaves a calling card.

[shows Joker a plastic evidence bag containing a batarang]

Joker : I'll look into it.

;)

A realistic super man that bleeds and dies if shot and can't fly. :lol

In seriousness, I don't think they would. Just doesn't seem to be in the nature of the character to have friends. Even Jack just kills Bob on a whim later in the '89 film. It's a wonder any incarnation of the Joker manages to have loyal henchmen.

True, they're all sociopaths, but they're all the same guy, at least partially, so I think they would be able to tolerate each other and work together as a team. I'm not saying that they would be friends, because they would eventually turn on each other, but temporarily, they can make it work.

I do think the first one to break the peace agreement would be Jack because he'd probably be in charge and wouldn't want any competition. Arthur would be non factor so far, so he'd go along with the two alphas from the group, which are Jack and Ledger. They would clash badly, because Jack is essentially a mob guy and wants to kill Bats, and Ledger isn't a fan of the mob and has no interest in killing Batman. Romero, he'd be a team player as shown in the 66 film and tv show, but he would side with Jack, since both rather have Batman dead. Leto would side with Ledger. I don't think he wants Bats dead, and given that he's a gangster, he'd be threatened by Jack, not Ledger. Arthur is the real wild card so far. I could easily see him siding with either team, and for no reason other than being aggravated or insulted, betraying the team with no real concern about the consequences of his actions even if it gets him or his group killed.

That?s a pretty good breakdown of their personalities.

But then Punisher breaks thru the door and blows all of their heads clean off lol

Arthur would see Jack and Ledger as "Murrays" -- men in power -- and just laugh and play along and then suddenly jab a scissor into their necks.

Ledger might con Arthur into being on his side though. He's very silver-tongued and they have the whole anarchy connection.

Great posts. I could see Ledger initially enticing and recruiting Arthur like he did for that one fake cop who got interrogated by Dent. But eventually Fleck would get delusions of grandeur and fantasize about himself being a hero which would cause him to just off Ledger out of the blue.

I never picked who might take it all in the end. I pick Ledger, assuming Arthur doesn't get lucky. :lol
He showed he could strategically manipulate, outsmart, and take everyone out, directly or indirectly.

Jack is no joke tho, he's got the smilex, hand buzzer, acid flower and could easily sneak up on any of them while they're using their hair and makeup products. :lol

Joining the nerd talk....

I think Ledger's Joker would know not to trust either Jokers. He might call himself an anarchist, a man without a plan, but he's obviously good at making meticulous plans. The bank heist, his mob takeover and how he stopped that accountant from spilling the beans on Bruce. All of that requires research, planning and execution. He'd probably outlive the other two.

A team-up of the 3 Jokers will probably end up like the Bank Heist. Nicholson will betray Fleck, and Ledger will betray Nicholson. Fleck has the least expertise of the three. Ledger is obviously skilled at weapons handling, explosives and hand-to-hand combat. Nicholson has his gadgets working for him. Fleck has a nice laugh.

The multi-page debate about dropping bombs in space from TLJ was also notable :lol

But this is a good one. I have nothing to add though, you guys have covered it well.

Yeah I totally don?t think Fleck?s unpredictability deserves the respect it?s getting for making him dangerous.

Had Murray not invited him on the show he would still be sleeping in his fridge.

Fury Road suffered from the same thing, great looking villain who literally sat down on the side of a hill with nothing to do until he lucked out that Mad Max came back his way, really bad villain that completely ruined that movie.

Ok fine he took out the subway guys which just makes him reactive.

He formulated a plan with Murray but he lucked out that Murray was either too trusting or too dumb (Murray producer caught on) because Joker was projecting what he was intending to do way ahead of time.

As is this new Joker could even learn a thing or 2 from Letoker lol
