I believe that was its original global take. I say that because I remember first hearing of its $100 million earnings in the mid-90's when Robert Rodriguez made a name for himself by spending $7,000 on El Mariachi.

I wonder if they adjust that studios kick in money to have the film released theatrically? Like Blair Witch cost an additional $5M to clean up and release. Do they count that?

They spent a lot of money on El Mariachi at the time too, adding music, etc.

Exactly, and I think they added an entire new ending with explosions now that I'm remembering. I remember $5M... which is quite a lot to work with in early 1990's when you have most of your movie.

Again its Joker their # 1 villain in the entire studio list of IP not just based on comic books.

The fact that post Nolan WB failed with Batman and Superman is embarrassing.

Had they messed up a standalone Joker movie they were going to be done for.

Certainly not the most expensive movie ever made in this genre but it still was expensive for a one man show with minimal cgi set pieces.

After global marketing and distribution costs it?s still a 175-200 million movie and more than likely closer to 200-225.

Marketing is super out of control expensive.

Still though a huge win for WB not bad for a movie where had Murray not called Arthur he would still be in his bed moping with zero plan on how to be finally noticed you know just like Immortan Joe moping on the side of a hill until Max returned.

Joker by luck lol

Wonder if the rumor that WW84 will match up with Joker are true.

Did WW84 have reshoots I don?t remember hearing about it other than the movie has been done for months.

Hmm

Joker going to the mall in the suburbs lol

Wait, what? People are having trouble conceiving how Batman could exist in the same world as this Joker and yet there is a rumor about Wonder Woman?

Would match up time wise but I don?t think WB is supposed to be connecting them UNLESS WB has massive confidence in WW84 then anything is possible.

Technology now allows last minute emergency reshoots literally last minute.

You should see the engineering my sister works on for Disney it?s really insane real time stuff so i?m sure WB has the same tech.

JJJ is now in the MCU so Gadot WW can easily be added to the new Jokerverse.

All I know is that a visit to Lucasfilm, ILM, Ranch, archives might be in my 2020 future if I get to bring a + 1 i?ll let you know Khev but first I need to get on the + 1 list myself so you would be a + 1 of a + 1 lol

Yeah dude i?m praying it pans out from what i?ve been told it?s a long shot but that it?s also still a possibility. The list of chosen ones must be quite lengthy.

What!? You going to Skywalker Ranch? That awesome!!!

Is it going to be called The Rise of Skywalker Ranch now?

I've never been but would love to go. My wife went. But then she also went to Cameron's "ranch"... yes, he has a ranch -- really just miles and miles of open land with a lot of cows. I bet he painted them all blue now.

Not yet going on a long list as a + 1 and I would hope to add my own + 1 lol

Since it couldn?t be my wife and son and if I can?t go with both then why bother so my wife suggested a friend of which I have none lol

I just want this scenario to play out:

Hi Disney story group this is my friend Khev your # 1 fan lol
