just makes no sense.

If Liefeld did such a craptastic job on H&D, then why reward him with more jobs?

Wish I could get a promotion for being horrible at my job

picked up Batgirl and Batman & Robin today.

I dropped Green Lantern.

Funny, my DC pull list grows smaller every month. I'm now down to:

Batman
Detective Comics
Batman & Robin
Batgirl
Nightwing
Red Hood & The Outlaws
Swamp Thing
Animal Man
Justice League

EDIT: Yeah, Liefeld pretty much blows.

Basically, the leadership wants 1993 Image

At least 1993 Image had The Maxx, The New 52 will be remembered for Animal Man and Swamp Thing. Everything else, I'm not so sure.

Really feel like dropping Detective Comics, but it's the only place where I get my Bat fix. I'd read Batman, but for me the concept of the dark knight works best sans Robin(s).

He's been solo for most of the BATMAN run, so far. And it's easily the best written of the Batbooks (I'd actually place BATMAN & ROBIN 2nd in that category, and I hate the Damien character).

I agree, Swamp Thing and Animal Man are the leaders of the pack for the New 52.

Batman is well written, Detective Comics just feels very amateur-ish and Batman & Robin is Ok, but, I can't stand the Damien character either.

My favorite bat book has been Finch's The Dark Knight. He's consciously is incorporating almost all of the Batmythos as well incorporating the Justice League within his story. It's been fairly predictable but I like it

I dont know why. I cant explain it, but as much of a Lantern freak as I am, Suicide Squad is the one that makes me happy when I see it in my IN box.

With Titans a close second. I like how they are making Robin like a Mini-batman. you can see he was trained by him. and yet, still keeping them bickering. Like him and Bart fighting over his clothes.

Sometimes im in the mood for light comics. sometimes heavy. and thats where animal man comes in. and I just got caught up on Swamp thing. I dont ever think Ive read a Swampthing comic from front to back, and yet im pretty anxious for issue 5

I'm with you on the whole Batman solo thing - I definitely prefer him working alone. But honestly, Batman is such a great read at the moment you should definitley give it a go. As others have said too he does work alone for 99% of it anyway. Infact there's only been two or three appearances max by any other member of the Bat-team, and even then they've been extremely brief cameos.
It really does feel like just Batman's book at the moment - and the story is getting better with each issue too!

I forgot, that's on my list too. :)

Really? I feel Dark Knight is the worst of the bunch (well, I don't know about Batman and Robin since I didn't even bother with that one). DC had me interested with faceless Joker but since they really haven't done anything with that I'm losing interest with that one too. Batman has been good though. I'm still interested where the Court of Owls goes. But I do have to admit Dark Knight is getting a little more interesting now we know Scarecrow is involved.

From the second that TDK started it was obvious that it was Scarecrow, although how the White Rabbit plays into it is still interesting me. I love that within the first few issues you saw Bruce's Batcave, you saw him dispatching the rest of his "Batfamily" to help investigate, saw how Alfred was going to be utilized, even got to see how the Justice League interacts dealing with one of their issues. I enjoy Finch's art and felt the story was more akin to a popcorn film, not bad or good but fun.

Yeah, the White Rabbit had me thinking Mad Hatter might be involved, and perhaps he still is. I think too many of Batman's bad guys use toxins/drugs of somekind to have had it been obvious to be Scarecrow IMO. Nobody freaked out in fear. I guess there was a certain lack of fear with them feeling all powerful though.

I haven't given up on any title yet actually. Still getting all of the Lantern books (although I'm close to dropping Red since its nothing great yet, but I want to know whats up with Krona), the Batman titles (sans B&R or any Justice League crap), and All Star Western. But once Hex leaves Gotham I'll probably be out there since I hate the second features cutting into the main story. And I really hope that was a 1 time thing with DC. I don't care about Catwoman and Strange Jr :lol

On a slightly related note, anyone know if they plan on releasing the Arkham Unhinged digital comics in a collective print edition? I'm just unsure whether I should wait it out or just break down and read them online.

I dunno how long I can stick with action comics and superman. I'm caught up to issue #4 on both

Action #5 gets very Grant Morrison-y. I enjoyed the single issue, but now I feel I'm completely lost in the overall story.

Just finished reading GL #5, much better than #4 and very much looking forward to what the next issue brings :)

superman #4 was all over the place and action comics is trying too hard to make superman into spider-man :slap

Supes #4 got me back into the arc finally started to explain what had been going on. I enjoyed it :) I did give up on Action Comics at #3 though, didn't get along with that one at all.

I'm really going to miss this Deadman arc that will end with issue 5. Issue 4 was amazing. The roller coaster ride with Boston Brand getting to ask Satan 20 questions is seriously one of the coolest things I've read in a comic in a long time.

Im the opposite, Superman really hasnt wowed me and unless it really picks up i'll be leaving it behind. Although admittedly that last panel did have me intrigued a bit. But I've been really enjoying Action Comics. There was one issue that i found was a bit lacking, but then it picked right back up again. I've been really enjoying it. Horses for courses though i guess.

I'd never heard of Deadman before the relaunch, therefore never bothered to read it or find out anything about it, that sentence has gotten me really interested. :lol
