Re: Batman: Arkham City - DC Direct - Series 1 action figures

Some over on the Fwoosh were also reporting that theirs were missing the shoulder guard.

Just picked up series 3 and Titan Joker from CSC today. Really impressed with Titan Joker, the figure is HUGE! He also has a nice amount of articulation. He is a bit top heavy though, wish they would've given him ankle articulation.

Series 3 is nice. Batman still suffers from that midget fist for his right hand. The thugs are a bit short too. Other than that, no complaints.

Really looking forward to what DCC announces for what's next in this line. This could be the most complete Batman line ever released when its all said and done.

:goodpost:
Good to know you like your figures :hi5:
Who do you think is the best in series 3?
Pics?:dunno:)

Re: Batman: Arkham City - DC Direct - Series 1 action figures

Personally, I think Azrael and Penguin are the best in Wave 3.

For wave 4, I want;

Hugo, Two face, Clay batman with battle damage and the sword/freeze grenade, Clayface joker (duller clothes) and Aaron Cash

Deluxe wave 3; Clayface and Solomon Grundy

wave 5:

Talia, Bruce wayne in the suit, Jim Gordon in rain coat, Nightwing and Deadshot.

Deluxe wave 4;

Abromovich brothers

Henchman wave 6;
sniper Rifle Penguin guard in fleece, Armoured penguin guard with disruptor and assault riflem Armoured PTyger guard with shock sticks, Sniper Tyger Guard, Shield Tyger guard

Costume variant wave 7;

BTAS batman, TDKR batman, Batman Beyond, BTAS Robin, BTAS Nightwing, BTAS catwoman

Been playing around with my camera today, had it for nearly a year now and finally got around to finding out what all the different functions do! Here's a few pics:

Re: Batman: Arkham City - DC Direct - Series 1 action figures

Ra's would look miles better behind a certain Hugo strange with his arms behind his back, asif he is the one orchestrating the puppet of Hugo

;) DCD need to make that happen for your diaorama!

Re: Batman: Arkham City - DC Direct - Series 1 action figures

Yeah that would look awesome! :D
I'm very much anticipating a Hugo Strange from DCC actually so hopefully he'll be in the next wave. Infact I'd really like to get Hugo, Ras and Talia up on that balcony so I hope DCC make her at some point too.

Re: Batman: Arkham City - DC Direct - Series 1 action figures

I think Strange is definitely my top priority now, though I'm nervous about the glasses situation after them being left off Riddler, 'cause he NEEDS glasses.

Two Face, Strange, Deadshot and Nightwing would make up a perfect wave, but probably too perfect to actually happen.

Re: Batman: Arkham City - DC Direct - Series 1 action figures

Yeah, DCC would probably blow that too and skip them again. Frankly I was impressed Freeze got a screen, but then again, I guess we did pay an extra $30 on him to make sure he had that screen :lol

Riddler is still an epic fail in this line IMO. The glasses were the biggest problem but the headsculpt is a real WTF as they don't really match up to the game, not even really similar to the trophy model either.

Re: Batman: Arkham City - DC Direct - Series 1 action figures

Wow, I don't know if scarecrow was always ending at around $70 on ebay. But my LCS still has Poison Ivy, Scarecrow and Zsasz the last time I checked.

Re: Batman: Arkham City - DC Direct - Series 1 action figures

Hugo will come with glasses im 100% sure. I mean Riddler.... yeah its annoying, headsculpt is abit annoying but Hugo must come with Glasses!

Re: Batman: Arkham City - DC Direct - Series 1 action figures

Yeah I'm sure if they make Hugo he'll come with his glasses, even if they end up just sculpted on.
Not long until NYCC now though so hopefully we'll get to see him then. Very excited to see what figures do get revealed!!

Re: Batman: Arkham City - DC Direct - Series 1 action figures

I wouldn't mind a detective mode Catwoman and Robin. Gordon is a must, though.

I ordered Killer Croc yesterday for 60 Euro shipped. The best deal to be found here. Now I'm just missing SDCC Joker, Riddler, Mad Hatter and Hush from the AC series.

Re: Batman: Arkham City - DC Direct - Series 1 action figures

mad hatter is still a gripe. Out of him and freeze its hatter whos over priced! Nice detail believe me. But he should atleast have a better pose and pocket watch. even a chair

What pisses me off the most is that those two would have evened themselves out in a normal wave. Freeze was *just* too expensive for a regular wave. And Hatter was *just* too little for a regular wave. Put them in the same wave and Freeze's extra cost balances out Hatter's smaller cost and as long as you buy them as a set, the cost would have worked out just fine in the end. But isntead we got to over pay for the both fo them :slap
