I am not digging the suits much in this game. The first Arctic suit is okay, but the others I've gotten (Witness, Archeology, that gold pimp suit) are bleh.

Cool; took a bit for me to adjust to the changes, but I am enjoying it myself....

I still don't like the way weapons ans suits are upgraded in this one and I miss the save stations but I did enjoy this game overall.

They are a lot faster. Wait til you come across the twitchers...they are insanely fast....and creepy as all hell.

Those ones were annoying as hell. I remember on one of the optional objectives, you get swarmed by them.

Agreed. I like the Arctic suit but the others are just meh. I still think DS1 had the best suits.

The save system in this is all kinds of weakness. What is considered a "checkpoint", that the game will save you at? I assumed it would be auto save locations.

But I saved at the room right before finding
Tucker's body
and it sent me back to the end of the previous chapter, while
running away from those regenerating guys while waiting for the tram to arrive
That set me back like a full hour.

Yes man.. the autosave system in DS3 is crap..:monkey4 But, if you wish. you can milk resources and items for your bank/inventory super fast :lol

Im enjoying this but agree with the auto save being crap, it saves your inventory a lot but not progress so ive learnt to keep an eye out for the progress save

Yeah the changes to saving are ****, the save stations were great and always handy - plus I would use them as a way to go to bed 'ill just play to the next save.' lol

Simon Templeman is the voice of Danik :| I knew it was Kain! I like this game more now.

:exactly::exactly::goodpost:

I was talking about that earlier in the thread just before the game came out, and that alone got me more pumped for the game :lol

I knew it from the moment he said "progress" it's the "PRO-gress" emphasis he does :lol
I should of known sooner. I literally just finished Defiance, then i laoded up Dead Space 3 and got to a bit on Hoff where he and his mates capture us. He started giving a speech, and i was like... wait a minute! *google*

Well atleast he is keeping his Voice over video game work active. He better be reprising his role as Kain in War for Nosgoth

It wouldn't be Legacy of Kain without him.

So how does hardcore work in DS3? Do you actually get manual saves, or did they change how hardcore works?

Hardcore relies on auto saving so in turn there are no limits on saves. The big difference is that once you die, you get sent all the way back to the beginning of the game.

I just did that yesterday, too....I ended up using my grenade gun that has a blast type cover....

Lol it's not just me then, u had to carry that bull**** probe gun with a huge reload time, I had no health packs and there was no check point between each wave of those little dudes who slap you so I'd stop to reload and get slapped to death lmfao controller got thrown hard but it landed on a pillow! Otherwise it would have shattered.

My Razer Onza TE controller died last week during a game of Halo. There was some supreme bull**** going on with people using the charge option on the bolt gun and I was forced to rage quit. May the Razer rest in pieces.
