Oh man I'mma have to go back and play thru these games again man its been a while. Pumped for 3, I wish they could get the Silent Hill games back to their former glory...

I'm with you on the changes made to RE. However, to make those claims of RE and completely ignore the changes made in DS seems strange to me... nothing in that demo was particularly scary...at all...in fact, other gameplay demos I've seen of this game seem to suggest it's gone the more action oriented route as well. They even have a cover system with you shooting at non-necromorph enemies carrying guns. As well as more of what people have come to call "Uncharted moments"...example the scaling of the walls seen in this here demo.

It's just bizarre behavior, and seems misguided...

Alas, this game looks fun, and I've played and loved every iteration so far.(even the silly puzzle game ) This one looks to be a great game, and I can't wait.

Same here. Bought game one when it hit, and was a little 'meh' on it initally; somewhere along the way I went from a hater to a fan, and haven't looked back!

It is scary for sure. I had several "!!! oh ****! *exhale*" moments when playing the first one but it's part of the fun right?
