EA has the details today on a spate of new DLC headed to its critically acclaimed survival horror title Dead Space.

The surgical decapitation and dismemberment featured in EA's space survival horror title Dead Space gets a weapons upgrade with today's DLC announcement.

The DLC launches on Nov. 13 via the Xbox Live Marketplace and the PlayStation Store (in Europe only). Other PSN users will have access to the DLC on Nov. 20.

I'm really loving this game. Made it about 1/2 way through yesterday...will probably finish it up this weekend.

you'll have to go through it a couple of times to get all of the achievements...good part is on the next play through you start off with all of your weapons, etc.

That's good to know....I was wondering how one could buy all the weapons...I spend a lot of my $$ getting updated suits. I really only use the plasma cutter and line gun.
Does anyone know what the secret achievements are?

Just finished it. Very cool game. I'll play it again and try to get some more of the achievements. Can't imagine beating it on the super impossible insane level. I can see where people compare it to Bioshock - it had that same feel to it....great story and graphics.....for anyone that is on the fence about this, I highly recommend picking it up.

Now it's time to start Tomb Raider Underworld.

I am playing this now - it has nice atmsophere, but it is easy - I am on Chpt 3 now, but with your locator, you literraly do not have to think for yourself....its the ultimate from 'point A to B' type adventure...!

You do have to do some thinking, but it's more combat strategies and tech upgrade choices. You simply don't have to worry about becoming totally lost and getting sidetracked on mission routes (considering it's a ship and many corridors can look pretty similar, this is good imho). If you don't wander off the "beaten path" now and again though, you'll miss all sorts of pickup items.

You must be playing this on the easiest setting, I played it on the hardest one from the start and some parts were a ^^^^^, even with the objective locator it was no walk in the park.
