He looks and he's dressed like Jackma :lol That's an instant no, from me. He's too big and "pretty." I don't want another leading man playing Wolverine. He should be short, agile, and athletic, not a 6'5' monster. I also want Wolvie to have fangs, which is something they haven't done yet.

And arm hair.

Definitely agree with you guys. I don't get the fascination with that guy the some other guys seem to have. I think I remember reading somewhere he should be Deathstroke....no, just no way. Too pretty.

BTW, CallMeTheDoctor, who is that in your sig and avatar?

Yeah rumors were that he was gonna be Deathstroke; I personally would've loved it. Joe is an awesome guy, and solid actor. I'd agree that he's too pretty but Manu Bennet did a good job too, and he definitely looks much better than what we'd expect of Slade.

I personally prefer a guy to be good looking, and just built over things we've gotten. I see X-Men:AS Mags and I think his built and long hair is menacing plus add his powers. I've never felt intimidated by Sir McKellen; he was much older and not built (though I don't blame him). I think that's why I liked DoFP Wolverine.

To your other question, it's Lindsay Elyse. :wink1:

Oh boy! More news about crazy DEADPOOL movie!

*reads posts*

Nope, another Wulwareene/Jack****-man blah-blah.
Z-Z-z-z-Z-z-z-Z-Z-z-Z-z ...

A perfectly cast unknown would be ideal wouldn't it. A short-ish stocky brawler type, that has the acting chops.

..& yes to the brown costume.

Hugh was basically an unknown himself, and look how well he turned out. He doesn't need to be a midget, but someone around 5'5-5'8 would probably do. As long as he's shorter than the other male leads it would be fine.

I would love to see a short, stocky Wolvie as he is in the comic, but I wonder if Fox would go for that since Jackman has set the mold that the future Wolverine will need to fit into. Much more important than any of that, though, is his personality and fighting style. Jackman had his moments, but by and large was a pretty traditional good guy. A big teddy bear of a character, who wasn't genuinely frightening and unpredictable as often as he should have been. Also, mask and something other than a leather biker suit or jeans/wife beater.

Hugh being Wolverine goes beyond the screen. The great person he's been to the fans and the role model he has become is something that is not common in Hollywood. It will be near impossible for the next actor to play wolverine to embrace it as vocally as Jackman, care so much for the fans and show honor and pride in carrying the torch.

Gonna miss Hugh, but I think his passion for the role mixed with people knowing it's his last, may give us one of the best comic book films of all time.
