I find it funny how young kids love Deadpool even though they really don't know what kind of a character he is, I also wonder with the new movie being so over the top adult, will they lose the whole child demographic now..... That's a lot of money going bye bye.

Might be like the 80s where parents take their kids without fully realising the gore and adult themes the movie will have"

Everybody turned out to be a DP fan on my FB feed all of a sudden.

This crap again...
Can't you people just accept the fact that boys back there weren't treated like girls and actually liked gore and adult stuff?

Mean the parents not realising or caring if the movie is "suitable".

Is HT making a figure from this film? That costume is way too good for it not to get a figure.

They'd make bank on it that's for sure. DEADPOOL is one of Marvels most popular characters.

Hopefully Disney will unclench, let's the stick slide out and allow Hot Toys to make a figure

I don't think parents gave a crap back then. :lol My parents didn't care about the violence in movies, only the nudity... sometimes. More often than not, those violent films had toy lines and cartoon shows, so it was alright for us to watch those films.

I have a feeling if F4 tanks, Disney and Fox will make some sort of deal (at least for profit sharing, merchandise rights, creative control, etc.)

I hope so at least, that way Disney would stop ruining the X-Men and killing all their merch.

Well he is featured in the Ultimate Spider-man cartoon. My son knows who he is, and got excited when he saw the 'real' Deadpool as my phone's lockscreen. He asked if they were making a movie, I said yes, but a grown up one. He wasn't too pleased...

I totally had a few Terminator figures as well as Robocop. But I didn't see the movies, I just thought they were cool toys. The only movies I wasn't allowed to watch as a kid were Horror movies (but I did have/play the Friday the 13th game for NES). When I was 'old enough' I went to the video store and rented all the horror I could get my hands on. Didn't see what the big deal was. And I also remember my older cousins taking me to see T2 in theatres. I would have been about 10, and still remember getting some bad 'allergies' at the end...

I'm guessing he won't be watching the film then :lol
