The trailer and the marketing I mean, the "feeling" of Deadpool is there, visually, but the jokes are so lame, I keep thinking the rest of the script and the dialogue are going to be around that level too, especially if they gave Reynolds too much creative freedom.

I hope I'm dead wrong though.

I'm 100% satisfied they'll get Deadpool right what concerns me is the rest of the movie. The villain looks meh and while we've seen some action on the bridge we haven't seen much else so in hoping the next trailer shows enough more to not make the movie look too small, which is what it looks like so far.

I feel like this movie will either be loved or hated by all. I am a little worried about the script, more so than anything having to do with the character. They haven't shown too much of the story and I'm hoping that's not cause it's garbage.

I really feel like they should've went all out and introduced Cable and some other characters with more substance, rather than the meh choices they used. Colossus was an excellent surprise and I hope he's as awesome as he looks.

This pretty much, the turtles movie comes into mind, they nailed the personalities of the turtles, but everything else is irredeemable ****.

I've been pondering how well it'll be too. Now I love deadpool. I've bought every single issue for the like 6 years or so and have everything else in trades. Suffice it to say he's my all-time favourite marvel hero.

What worries me is how he'll translate to film. Especially with what version of him we're getting. Now he's fantastic in comics, and even in video games and cartoons he's great but can that translate to film well without making the audience roll their eyes every 30 seconds. Are we gonna get a darker deadpool who is more of a wise ass or the lighter one who makes jokes all the time and says random stuff. Hopefully the new trailer on Christmas day will give us a better idea.

Now I'm hoping and praying that this film is a total surprise and ends up being one of those epic films people talk about for ages but I think I'm gonna lower my expectations a tad. That being said if this film is epic, I'm getting a deadpool portrait tattoo.

I think it's gonna have a pretty basic revenge story plot. I feel like that's okay though cause it's going to be a character driven film for sure. Hopefully they'll bring Cable into the sequel and we can get some of those great C&D story lines
