Reynolds acheived the perfect representation of DP on his 2nd outing, Jackman has yet to do that in his what now. 6th or 7th movie.

X1/X2 remains his closest, especially X1.

Agreed. I mean, Jackman has done a fantastic job of getting into "his" movie Wolverine, but the longer he goes on, the less I buy it.

He's a really fun and oftentimes really good movie character, but to put him as the movie role encapsulation... nope.

It's funny, my wife seems to really like Reynolds (especially... The Proposal (hand fart noise)), and has gotten into almost every Marvel movie.

But seeing the trailer for this, she said it was the first one she didn't know if she wanted to see or not. I've been trying to explain the character to her more, showing her 4th wall examples (though has it even been confirmed this will be addressed in the movie?), and explaining even more. She's willing to see it with me, but she's not hyped.

I am going to show her the second red band trailer, which I think does the best job so far of getting the character across, so we'll see how that goes.
